Special Abilities

  • Unique
  • Melee Attack (Can attack only adjacent enemies)
  • Double Attack (On his turn, this character can make 1 extra attack instead of moving)
  • Master Fencer (+4 defense against melee attacks)
  • Duelist Training (At the start of the skirmish, choose an allied character with a Lightsaber. For the rest of the skirmish, that character gains Master Fencer.)
  • Makashi-Style Fighting (This character can reroll each failed Lightsaber Block save once)
  • Separatist Propaganda (The range of enemy commander effects is reduced by 2 squares and the range of allied commmander effects is increased by 2 squares. Non-living characters and characters with Order 66 ignore this effects.)

Force Powers

  • Force 6
  • Force Regeneration 1 (This character gains 1 Force Point at the end of its turn if he is below his force rating)
  • Force Lightning 2 (Force 2, replaces attacks: range 6; 30 damage to target and 2 characters adjacent to that target)
  • Lightsaber Block (Force 1: When hit by a melee attack, this character takes no damage with a save of 11)
  • Lightsaber Deflect (Force 1: When hit by a nonmelee attack, this character takes no damage with a save of 11)
  • Lightsaber Precision (Force 1: This character gets +10 Damage on his next attack)
  • Lightsaber Riposte (Force 1: When hit by a melee attack, this character can make an immediate attack against that attacker)
  • Master of the Force 2 (May spend Force points up to 2 times in a single turn)

Commander Effect

Living Separatist allies gain +3 attack against Republic enemies.

Why force regenerationand not renewal? I'd also recommend a name change, as the Dooku from RaR has the exact same name. But the figure itself is solid 9/10

Because i don't like the potential of getting an unlimited amount of force points very much. Force Regeneration is more balanced i find. I will not change the name because this are characters for my very own personal V-Set and some are just fitting very well.

Just some recommendations. Master Fencer already exists as Melee Duelist. You could combine Block and Deflect into just Lightsaber Defense. And generally Sith like Dooku get Sith Rage instead of of Precision. I like the idea of Force Regen, though.

Thanks for feedback, though Melee Duelist is against adjacent enemies, Master Fencer is thematically more correct since it works only against melee. If I combine Bock and Deflect into Defense, Makashi-Style Fighting would no longer work. And I only want it to work against melee attacks, obviously. And last, Sith Rage does not fit the character of Dooku, that's why no version of him has it. He was always the kinda strategic and precise guy. I worked on this Dooku for quite some time and everything is put onto him with thoughtful purpose :)

This is a very well thought-out piece! I like him a lot! The CE does bug me - generally not a huge fan of faction-targeting abilities. But it's a great way to keep him from being Whormified, and is super flavorful.

@CorellianComedian Thank you! Yeah the CE is pretty strong but the WOTC-Seps have no way to increase attack of living characters with in-faction CEs and i wanted to create a Dooku that does actually synergize with the faction and can be played with other heroes like Grievous but also with living grunts. Also, it always kinda bugged me that Dooku was a follower, after all he is the political leader of the CIS, kinda like what Palpatine is for the Republic. I think the CE is pretty fitting for the charismatic main leader of the CIS :)

It seems even if that wasn't the intention, SP does cancel out Booming Voice. Booming Voice only works if commander effects have a range of 6 squares and SP makes the range 4. If that wasn't the intention then you may want to reword it.
