The CE seems like it would only be useful if you're running back-line commanders.

It’s hard to judge the cost for sure. I’d rather this be a piece that is just going ham with UTF multiple times a round. If you close out and use it twice that’s 80 damage incoming and 4 extra attacks with flurry.

It will go ham 1 time and die. Which probably isn't the best for a 70 cost piece. While using 3 force it will do 100 damage from 6 squares away (but with a 12 attack against a piece with a 20 defense it will miss one of the 3 extra attacks meaning it deals 80). While using 6 it can do 200. No force means it deals 40 damage. With Talon in play I don't think it is going to do so well.

Maybe closer to the 50pt mark...for reasons listed above. Giving him Pilot would open up some CEs.

Droids aren't gaining Force points. The CE says that Luke gains FPs when an ally gives up its turn.

It's perfectly okay for pieces to have bad matchups. I think costing pieces high out the gate is always a better option and then lowering it as you go. Playing a couple cheap unique's to charge up Luke for a turn or two needs to be factored into his cost somewhere. Also need to factor in that Luke on a Djem so could UTF to get off multiple counter attacks on not his turn.

It happens to have weaknesses to the big squads in my opinon. Talon, Vindicated/tarre vizsla, asajj ventress/talzin, etc. Maybe he can get the ability where crits are unstoppable? that way he can definitely get damage through to Obi-Kin, or these parry pieces.

That's an interesting idea. Pop Ruthless on him and he's starting to look better.
