During setup, choose a fringe character. This character's point cost X is 1/2 the printed cost of the chosen character. It starts the skirmish with half its HP (rounded up). This character is set up in Gambit. This character cannot be activated, cannot move, and does not count as a legal target. Its space cannot be entered, but it provides cover. The first time a missionary heals this character it immediately joins that squad. The character cannot be activated this round.)
