So does this mean that Soresu now blocks both melee and non-melee attacks?

Interesting that Crack Gunner listes Parry and Block, considering you can't combine fire on a melee attack. ??? (should be Evade and Deflect)
Black Sun squads are now viable with the BBSV & RBSV.
And the new glossary def for Reflect does not go back to Yoda CS & Loda. Sadly... *edited after reading the Wizos Rules post by NickName*

It doesn't change their version. It just clarifies in case of multiple versions of the same power. So, to sum up: Loda and Yoda: still 10 damage Vader, LotF: still full damage. It fooled me as well until Nickname clarified it. It even included a word "stated" instead of "printed" that he suggested.. Crack Gunner was just a cut and paste job but the intent is the same.

Yeah...I should have went and read up on it before I assumed anything. Go figure. Thanks for pointing it out though.
And read the Gunner part from NickName as well. He mentioned that it should be taken care of in the next errata update.

I was about to Plotz when I read that LS Reflect rule and thought it meant "printed damage on opponent's card." I reread it and drank myself to sleep so I couldn't cry. Granted, it was only with mint tea but it's still drinking and I was still sad.
However, I think Vong Bombs just got a touch better with the ruling on Black Sun (still the Disruptive, It's a Trap!, etc is a factor but those Abyssian BS Thugs might actually get to see the light of day.

LOL. As of right now you can still evade and deflect against crack gunner...they're gonna have to errata the errata. And just wow at Soresu style...talk about broken. Now they have to start making stuff to compete with that and this game is going to lose its appeal for me.

Well...it's still says you can't use abilities that avoid damage, so even Evade and Deflect are out. They only used Parry and Block as examples. Not a complete list. :)

Agreed. NickName mentioned that in hindsight he realized that he put the wrong ones in there and that they will probably be updated in the next errata update (for the next set I'm sure). But for now, there's no harm leaving them as just examples. (it was a copy/paste job from Overwhelming Force, which is on a Melee character...hence the Melee abilities)
