I know this is probably going to be as off-topic as things can likely get but if anyone knows anything about PSP and UMD troubleshooting, help would be appreciated, yesterday my PSP stopped reading UMDs, although I believe it technically reads them since the disk loading icon still shows up on the PSP home screen but the UMD icon itself never shows up, I've tried with more than one UMD so I know it's likely the PSP itself having problems.

Perhaps it is an issue I had with my first one. Most likely a laser reader issue, and internal hard drive problem or a UMD clamp issue. Laser is simple, take it to someone who knows the internals and can take it apart without ruining it. Hard drive is the same solution, but a different issue and the clamp is the mechanism that tells the hard drive that the gate is closed, so it can read the UMD fully. If the clamp is playing up then it will let the PSP read the UMD but not play it because it will assume it is not safe to do so.
