Prepare yourself for the 7th Annual LBB Tournament at Kryptonite Kollectibles. It should be a fun day. Here are the specifics, so mark it on your calendar and we’ll see you there!

When: Sunday, November 4
Where: Kryptonite Kollectibles, 1441 Plainfield, Janesville, WI
Time: register at Noon, play runs 12:15 pm – 5 pm
Format: 200 point squads, normal build rules
Bring a map; we’ll follow the Open map list so you’ve got a lot to choose from
We’ll also follow the SWMGPA/DCI scoring system, but time limits will be clock driven not round driven
Four * one hour rounds
Entry Fee: none!
Prizes: none; so no worries about trying out that fun team

All the fun of a Regional, but the lower stress and higher frivolity of a Friday night.

Did we say fun? Remember, this isn’t meant to be ultra-competitive, so you can leave your GenCon team at home. :>)

Awesome, it's on a Sunday so I might be able to make it!

And bonus - 2 weeks earlier Chicago is running a similar tournament (due to a cancelled tournament in OH).

That should be good practice for this tournament! Or since they are both casual, you can play 2 different fun squads (I know I'm having a hard time choosing!)

I bought extra of the brand new restricted list map. Royal militia HQ.

I'll be selling them at cost to anyone who needs one.

I will be personally abiding by the same banned list from our recent Chicago tournament.

Bonus points for anyone else taking on the same challenge. ThumbsUp

8 unique Republic Jedi. No fringe, no droids, no non-uniques, no shooters.

Went 3-1, but admittedly in at least 2 of the wins the Shien rolls were well in my favor (and/or opponents rolls not in their favor).

Don't think it can really compete in a non-casual tournament, but it was interesting to play.

Obviously better vs shooters, and really quite poor versus any melee defense (unless Jaina can't roll a parry to save her life)

I would certainly drop something to add R2 astromech, and possibly even panaka.

Rolling cleave was nice, but not used often enough. Ahsoka would probably let get dropped first.

Coleman Trebor was the igcognito killer. LS Assault for 60 Damage (30/30) vs any enemy above 14pts (Qui-Gon's +4 and Bravado).

Dark woman doesn't want to cloak, as she has 110hp and Shien! Meat shield!

Got to use Ki-Adi Mundi's CE a couple of times, but it's tricky to set up.

Even got in a couple whirlwinds. That would be much easier to pull off with R2 and/or Panaka.

You really have to spread the damage and get the most out of each Jedi.

Love to see it face Daala. (you'd need crazy good Shien rolls to win, but it would be satisfying. Only because Daala sucks, not because winning by a bunch of lucky rolls is satisfying)

It did strongly highlight the double-edged sword that Shien is. Ha-ha, you can't get around my non-melee defense by getting adjacent! What's that you say? Then you'll just stay as far away from me as possible and shoot across the map? That sort of backfired. (from the point of view of wanting to encourage engagement)

The fact that in theory it could make opponents think twice about shooters is good. The fact that it involves SOOOOOO many save rolls is bad.

Overall torn on how I feel about it, but still glad I ran it.
