Well time for an update...

Spoke with Jeff at Pair-A-Dice and we are all set for the first of June. We'll have food ordered/brought in after the second round of Swiss and I encourage all players to have their squad sheets prepared (if at all possible) prior to arriving at the store. I will have plenty of sheets on hand Friday night and again on Saturday, however I really want to get the first round started promptly at 11:45AM. We'll be departing from Chez Russell @ 9:30AM in order to facilitate an on time start.

Early returns are shaping up nicely and we should see/expect to a field in 12-16 range, maybe even upwards of 18. To those of you who have committed a big thanks! BlooMilk

Next, the last bit of prize support arrived yesterday, all I can say is that the Cad Bane print is very nice indeed and will make a fine addition to someones SW collection. Drool

I'm really looking forward to the weekend and having a ton of laughs!LOL

For the Follies, faction rulz are suspended. So it will be Dynamic Duo Royal Rumblesque Tile Wars.

Thanks alot of hard work went into these and I finally got the hang of my airbrushes by the end of painting these pieces. I only have about 10lbs of plaster left and will have to get some more before I start more projects. I am hoping to eventually that more people would like some of these types of trophies for their tournaments throughout the year.

Clear rulz you request... Clear Rulz you shall receive....

Each Follies participant shall produce no less than three (3) 100 Dynamic Duos w/o Faction restrictions & duos do not have to exactly equal 100 points.

The battle will be fought on a legal Tiles Wars tile; wherein the standard setup rules apply and with Override being expressly forbidden. Players will submit their Duo to the TO and the order in which they will be played. Once a player's active Duo is defeated the next Duo shall appear, again following the standard setup rules.

Wash, rinse and repeat until finished.

30m rounds.

Remember this is for fun... BigGrin

As we are now at Z-minus 5 and counting Bomb Bomb Bomb , for those staying with us on Friday I will be home prepping on Friday. Arrivals are welcome anytime after 4pm and I suspect we'll be grilling given its not 20 degrees out this time around. The Follies will begin at 8pm, to allow for any late arrivals.

Have fun everyone. Really sad I can't make it - but life sometimes has to come before minis (for some odd reason).

Terribly unfortunate but a very true statement nonetheless. Sad

Your and Jake's presence shall be missed, as we party on the patio. BlooMilk

Present count has us at (12), I could see us getting to (16) depending on a few flyers that are out in the ether...

Nevertheless a field of twelve will guarantee (4) rounds of Swiss with the final four playoff. An anticipated good showing in the face of dwindling attendence this regional season. For those of you who are able to make the trip; I thank each and everyone of you, as this is how the game continues to survive post WotC. BlooMilk
