I love that movie. Bruce Campbell rocks.

To those of you seriously discussing this rumor, you have my apologies if you've been offended by my humor. The idea of Samuel Jackson reprising his role as Mace Windu in episode 7 is just so ridiculous to me, both because of the time elapsed factor and also because he's already dead. Wookieepedia lists his death at 19bby. While I realize Wookieepedia isn't 'the Bible' of Star Wars canon, it does show that when that story was written, it was intended that we accept that Mace died in that scene. Bringing him back smacks of the stupidity the Cartoon used in bringing Darth Maul back from the dead.

I like the Mace Windu character. I also like Samuel Jackson. I'm all for seeing him in Ep7, but in another role. If I am to accept that Mace survived that scene, I'd have to start believing stuff like a young Dr. E. managed to get to him and Darth Maul, attaching Maul's upper body to Mace's wrist stump. Oops...I did it again, didn't I? Sorry.

Would this qualify them as primitive screw heads?

No way.

Give it up, Sammie; your contributions to Star Wars are done.

Well, since the other actors from the original trilogy are said to star in this one as well, and it's supposed to be a similar timeline from then to now, that makes some (like Han/Harrison Ford) in their 70's. That would mean if Mace survived, he'd have to be, like, 90's+...

How would they make Samuel Jackson look that old? Blink

Ughh.... Disturbing thought. Never mind.

As a ghost MAYBE, other wise, I'm not to keen on him surviving a 50 story fall AT LEAST after being zapped by Palps... I'm pretty sure there was some canon saying salvagers found his saber and gave it to a Senator
