ok...another thing does it move with a piece multiple times? so lets say I am attached to revan... and I run him and attack something does it move adjacent to them? then if I swap in someone else does it swap with revan?

The way I understood the movement part was it is supposed to be like the character is carrying it so I would think it would say with them, but I'm by no means a rules expert!

The card says "after that ally changes position" but does not specify on its turn, so it is placed in an adjacent space after that ally has changed position. This came up in one of my games in sealed and was ruled that way.

It is placed adjacent to them (like swap as opposed to movement). But yes, it could change positions multiple times. If Revan runs up, after the move place the Holocron adjacent. If Revan then swaps, after he swaps, place the Holocron adjacent to Revan again.

Still interested in the Squib Trader interaction; if Squib Trader's abilities use targeting rules then no. One other question regarding the Sith Holocron...it says on the card that it cannot spend force points, but it has the ability Force Curse, which cancels a save reroll within 6 if a force point is spent. It does not say that its ally or any ally gains that ability, so who can use Force Curse exactly?

It doesn't say anything about not being targeted by allies? So I would say yes, you could give it that. You could also I think give it Grenades 10. I think those are the only 3 things they can gain...... Can you swap a Holocron with an Uggie? Using Darth Sidious, Sith Mastermind? Can you also Pawn of the Dark Side a Holocron? Dominate them? Yadda yadda?

The character the Holocron is attached to may use its Force powers:

Quote:
"that ally may use this character's Force Powers as if its own by spending this character’s Force points; it cannot spend its own Force points on the same turn."

Interested in this also, and if Holocron ignores targeting, then ignore my post and just say it ignores targeting.

Holocrons are not subject to CEs, so no swapping.

They are not legal targets, and that would apply to both enemy and ally abilities that target. The targeting rules for allies are pretty simple - you can choose any ally in line of sight regardless of adjacency (unless further restricted).

As far as the "Supplies" abilities - the question is whether they target. I don't know the answer to that. I'm not even sure it has been asked before because I can't think of any other character that counts as adjacent but doesn't count as a legal target for its allies. When Diplomat is in effect they aren't legal targets for enemies, but they are legal targets for allies. Ghosts aren't legal targets for allies, but they also don't count as adjacent so they obviously can't qualify for the "Supplies" abilities.

I'm sure Dave will be in with an official word soon.

Also, did we ever get the official ruling on the movement that the Holocron made provoked AoO?

Communication Supplies target an adjacent ally.
You are selecting a character and the SA does not specify it not targeting.

Holocron states the character is not a legal target.

Diplomats are only illegal targets to attackers with los to an enemy w/o diplomat.

So no, cant give holocrons Relay Orders.

Can you take an AoO on a diplomat if you have LoS to another enemy?

No. Diplomat makes the character "not-a-legal-target" and *also* makes it so you can't attack them. AoO does not target, but it is an attack.

No, because Diplomat states that you cannot target OR attack them.

I'm so confused by this... lol.

We need a list of abilities that don't target lol.
