I thought that maybe a reason would be given as to why the past 2 were so bad. Not an apology but a plot point that explained the pointlessness of them 4. I wanted it to be over and have this trilogy behind me, whether it was good or bad. That's great if you like them. I am happy for you I loved the prequels and I was 22 when they came out. Now I understand how the prequel haters felt. Clearly I have been spoiled by George Lucas' genius and it is probably unfair for me to expect the sequels to have a point for existing. For me these movies added nothing new to the universe and the story felt like itwas thrown together as they went along. I think everyone has different things they like about star wars. That's what makes it so universally loved. But for me I was hoping for more than rehashing the old films with less likable characters.

At no time has she ever talked about making a good story or respecting the lore. She, however, has gone on at length about female this and female that and I don't owe male fans anything. You know, the people who liked it before it was cool and have kept it alive for decades? She strikes the EU from canon, says there is no source material yet STEALS from it?
