I've been running a squad at a tourney now for a while and have had some success with it. It's called Nym 'N' Vader. The original has been doing well, but looking at some pieces in Imperial Entanglements, I thought I could make some improvements. I ask you: which squad is better?

Is it the classic? The newer version? Would a hybrid of the two work best? Which version of Vader is better? Is Nym the best option in this squad, or would someone else work better? Which mercs to include? If you've got anything to say, post it here. I appreciate your input. ThumbsUp

I prefer the original. I decided to hold of on Vader and used the new Thrawn.

In the 2nd squad, if you could fit in a Twi'lek BSV, your Gotals would have Triple with Greater Mobile. :)

Well, outside of 300pts, I would not use both Nym and Vader LotDS together. Instead go for Mithrawn and Tarkin. A triple +14 for 40 from Nym will be more productive than a quad +10 for 30 almost every game. I actually just finished making a new Nym squad, so I suggest checking it out.

Basically, I used the Merc Commander as well, since he gains opp from thrawn and extra from Tarkin.

Double, deadeye, Opp Mercs are something to be feared, and Thrawn really really helps overcome the merc problems. Intuition and swap basically makes the merc SA almost a non-factor - and furious or deadeye pretty well covers you as well.

Here's the 200 version. I'll go make that 300pter in a minute just for fun :)
