  • Intuition (Once per round, after initiative is determined, this character can immediately move up to his speed before any other character activates)
  • Accurate Shot (Can attack an enemy with cover even if it's not the nearest enemy)
  • Twin Attack (Whenever this character attacks, he makes 1 extra attack against the same target)
  • Jedi Hatred +10 (+10 Damage against enemies with Force ratings)
  • Stealth (If this character has cover, he does not count as the nearest enemy for an attacker farther than 6 squares when choosing targets)
  • Independent Outfit (Also counts as a Fringe character for the purpose of commander effects)
  • Death Trap (Replaces turn: 60 damage to target within 12 squares regardless of line of sight and to each character within 3 squares of that target; save of 6 to reduce to 20 damage; This ability can only be used once per skirmish.)
  • Imposter (Clone Cadet 'Lucky' is not considered a legal target for enemies in a Republic squad until he has made an attack or used an ability that deals damage during a skirmish; characters that have Bodyguard or contain the name Security ignore this with a save of 11. This character does not provoke attacks of opportunity against enemies in a Republic squad; save of 11)

"A young Boba Fett infiltrated the ranks of the Grand Army of the Republic posing as clone cadet 'Lucky' in order to get close enough to exact his revenge upon Mace Windu, the Jedi who killed his father."

Well Aurra worked exclusively for the Seps when she got involved in the Clone Wars; even if she was technically a Fringe character. Boba was used by her to try and collect credits for the death of Jedi and Republic hostages. Plus no doubt without the aid of Separatist intel young Boba and his accomplices would not have been able to execute such a daring plan. A minor point too: There is an Aurra Sing that is Sep faction... so why not a Boba in this instance? :)

Well designed as far as character, but Death Trap is way overpowered I think. Auto 20-60 damage, with ALOT of range. I think it should have more restrictions or less range, especially when he CAN be invulnerable until he gets it off AT LEAST once.

You can just target all of their leaders and boom bye bye goes half an opponents squad

True about the range being 6 is a bit brutal, but then if you bring the range in then there is less chance of friendly pieces being taken out, including this character itself. So not only does he have to get the set up but then has to make sure the target doesn't get within range of this ability being used on himself. Also, characters with Guard or Security in there name can stop him from roaming by undaunted. Take into consideration that the wording in Imposter only works against Republic squads in this instance.

I have used this ability in SEVERAL testing sessions, and it was usually only able to be used once in a skirmish. The main reason for it not being able to be used more often was because of the range. Lucky had to keep his distance, watch out for friendly's getting hit, and the fact that enemy commanders & their entourage either closed the distance to him or away from him.

The fact that characters that contain the name Guard or Security could attack him before he set up Death Trap was also a factor. Though I've been thinking of adding onto the definition of Imposter "characters that contain the name or ability Guard or Security...." That way its not limited to characters that just have guard or security in their name; in fact I'm going to add that.

It's no small thing to mention that I had help wording both Imposter & Death Trap from a couple members who work in and around the V-set design team. There are already auto 60 dmg abilities out there. Again, I know the range is the thing that makes some of the more conservative swm gamers out there uncomfortable, so perhaps the thing that might need to be changed is cost. Perhaps he could be anywhere from 6 to 18 points more in cost (to bad there wasn't ever a consistent costing pattern developed for this game; too subjective). Anyway, I appreciate the feed back & discussion :)

Yeah, it's probably just worse on paper; if you've tested it, then it may be ok :). It just does look kind of scary at first.

Update: Added a 'Once per skirmish' clause to Death Trap. Thank you all for the constructive critique. I believe now the circle is complete :)

Death trap still seems a bit intense but I like that it's only once per skirmish now. Also to simplify things I would swap imposter for spy, much simpler and accomplishes the same aspect. I made up special ability called "blown cover" which also may help.

Ooops yeah, I thought my update of Death Trap was also to include a range of 3 from target instead of 6. Fixed that. Thanks for your input Grievous, I'll check out that ability of yours... I did look at Spy but I kinda felt like 'Lucky' needed something that represented the fact that he was impersonating a clone cadet - I did get some help from a Vset designer on the wording, interestingly enough Spy came out in that 1st Epic set a lil while after. Not taking credit, haha, they prolly were working on it before hand....but ya never know ;)

Dropped Pilot & Evade. Added Stealth. Dropped Pilot mostly because he really wasn't Piloting much of anything in any of the episodes he was featured in (though I'm fully aware he could pilot a starship and didn't take too long to become a great Pilot). Stealth can allow him to get Evade if the BithBSV is added.

Dropped Double for Twin, so as to keep the piece from getting twin & double with Accurate. This is the final version.
