  • Assassin (+4 Attack and +10 Damage against living enemies)

  • Flamethrower 30 (Replaces attacks; range 6; 30 damage to target and to each character adjacent to that target.)
  • Pulse Cannon 40 (Replaces attacks: sight; 40 damage to target and to each character adjacent to that target; on a save of 11, reduce the damage to 10)
  • Teamwork (At the end of this character's turn, it may immediately make an attack or use an ability that replaces attacks)

IG-88A and his three "brothers", whom he loaded with his sentience programming, rebelled against their Holowan Laboratory creators. After the slaughter, they planned a Droid Revolution to conquer the galaxy.

HAHAHA. I like the piece! I think it might be a little undercosted, though? There are so many ways you may or may not be able to boost them. I think you could go Talon and Camper to give them another +4/+10 - that's +20 Attack for 160 damage total; +24 attack if Unique. On the other hand, though, I don't think you necessarily should have to deal with the billions of boosts out there for Unique Fringe Droids, so I'm not really too concerned.

Nice! I would give it teamwork

And maybe advanced shields 2

I hadn't considered Teamwork. I could go full tilt Epic and bump it to AS2 and add teamwork. It's an intruiging idea.

@CC: Talon and some tech will chew up a lot of points @ 200. He wont have much offensive backup with the points available unless Droid Revolution really gets humming. Take that Mouse swarms!

I couldn't resist! I upgraded Advanced Shields to level 2 and added Teamwork. Adjusted cost up to 112. Thanks for the suggestions. I really like how this one turned out. I'd love to hear play reports from anyone who runs this.

I am literally tempted to play test this piece just to see how it works before I can place any "judgements" I love the ig's and love how accurate it is portrayed. It is very powerful. Kind of interested in what spryguy says (since he is the epics master)

Dual Weapon Use + Teamwork is nuts! As in wow!, and also I'm not sure how that might work rules-wise, because I'm not sure it has been considered and codified previously, lol. :D

It's a bit crazy, fo sho. Twin with Dual for 60 with assassin and 60 auto with flamer. 120 damage. Then Teamwork with Twin for 60. If Teamwork and Dual stack it gets ludicrous. Teamwork with Dual gives 60 with Twin/Assassin plus Flamer for 60. Outside of 6 squares the damage output drops.

Actually, Dual Weapon likely does not give a second bite at the "replaces attacks" Apple when paired with Twin. I would guess it would be ... attack, replaces attacks, Twin.

but you can still double twin and than use teamwork to twin again to have 6 attacks for 180 damage.

True. Double/Twin with no movement breaker and a Large base, however, exposes the Iggies to a lot of potential damage with AS2 being the only defense. 200HP is high, but for an Epic it's not the highest and that defense rating is nothing special. Against other epics ...

If I drop Drouble then he can Attack, Flamer or Pulse, Twin with Dual Weapon. That's 70-100 Damage. Then use Teamwork to repeat. Max output is 140-200 depending on opponents save rolls for Pulse Cannon. Is that better?

Liked it then and still like it now, cost could come up to 130-140 range haha
