  • Immediate Fringe Droid Reserves (If you roll exactly 1, 2, 11 or 12 for initiative, you can add up to 20 points of non-Unique Droid characters from any faction to your squad, adjacent to this character, immediately before your first activation of the round)
  • Recon (Roll twice for initiative once per round, choosing either roll, if any character with Recon in the same squad has line of sight to an enemy)
  • Rapport (Non-unique droid characters with a printed damage rating of 0 cost 2 less when in the same squad as this character)
  • Synergy (Allies whose name contain Jawa get +4 Attack and +4 Defense while within 6 squares of this character)
  • Crush (During this characters movement it cannot enter any square twice. This character can enter squares occupied by medium or smaller enemy characters, an enemy character affected in this way takes 20 damage and must immediately move to an empty square adjacent to this character. Save 6 to avoid the damaging effect.)
  • Restraining Bolts (Allied Droid characters lose Self-Destruct while adjacent to Jawa characters in your squad.)
  • Unhindered (This character ignores all terrain and cannot gain cover bonuses.)

Commander Effect

Droids are subject to these effects: Non-Unique Droid allies with 20 or more Hit Points and a printed damage rating of 0 gain Self-Destruct 20. Allied Jawa characters gain Detonator (Replaces attacks; one droid ally within line of sight with an special ability whose name contains self destruct is immediately defeated)

Sandcrawlers were large mobile fortresses used by Jawa scavengers on the desert planet of Tatooine.

this will be PERFECT for the NorthTrek creations or Alfred Wong custom Jawa Sandcrawler kits, which are near to 1:48 scale! excellent work. my only concrit? it would be great to have staggered activation and transport, that's the only thing I can think of to improve it.

Haha nice! I'm not a fan of large vehicles, but you did this one really well! I second the motion to add a transport mechanic, but I'd say skip staggered activation - I think it's unnecessary complication. Also, for the sake of semantics, you might want to find a different way to specify who gets SD20, as "Astromech" is not technically a descriptor in SWMinis.

Maybe "Droid allies with 20 or more HP and 0 printed damage"? That gets all the astromechs, as well as random stuff like the LIN and Treadwells. I really like this piece, actually! With Gha, you can get four R7 bombs with your reserves. Oh, and nice choice of numbers for Reserves, way to punish MTBs.

Oh, one last thing: I'd maybe add Unhindered (it was on the AT-AHT joke spoiled somewhere) so it can ignore walls.

I like this, I think it is spot on for what I would envision this vehicle to be. The reality is youd likely not even move it but keep it in the back. Though I think it should have an x amount of reinforcements from the get go. This things only ability is a CE with a 40% chance per round to bring in more. Otherwise it is a VERY large target. Again, I do like it! Also I dont think it needs staggard in this case because it isnt a combat vehicle.

It can move only. Nothing to shoot with etc. The only other ability you might want to add is transport, with the ability of those carried able to shoot. That would give you a reason to actually move it forward. With this and the LAAT thread, it makes me so happy to see others making vehicles! ^_^

If you did go staggard, id have it have like 6 actions maybe? All of them being move actions. with 2 exceptions: Disembark: cost 1 move action: instead of moving the piece, place any number of characters that are inside this vehicle adjacent to this...... Embark: cost 1 move action: instead of moving the piece, place any number of adjacent characters inside this vehicle up to a max of (insert size and number variations).... Move: cost 1 move action: move this vehicle 2 squares (diagonal or just straight etc, but i think diagonal should be included)

I've heard about a figure due out soon that nerfs reserves. Is this piece set for a quick nerfing?

Haha you should still make one Saber! But thanks still probably going to throw transport on but since, like blemelisk pointed out, it's really only moving and spawning it doesn't really need staggered. But disembark and transport could be good
