Force 3, replaces attacks; adjacent living ally gets +4 Attack and +10 Damage for the rest of the skirmish; use this ability once per character; activate that character afterwards; For the rest of the skirmish if, at the end of that ally's turn, it is not within 6 of this character, that ally takes 10 damage.

Glossary Text

If this character is defeated and the "bonded" ally is still in play, that ally takes 10 damage each turn because this character cannot be within 6.
