Not subject to Commander Effects, this character cannot receive bonuses nor penalties from other characters. If an enemy targets this character, an adjacent ally becomes the target instead.

Glossary Text

This character is not subject to Commander Effects. This character may not receive any bonus or penalty from Abilities, Force Powers, or Commander Effects to it's base statistics (i.e. Traps/Doctrine of Fear/Synergy/etc. have no effect on this character) or save rolls (i.e. Dark Aura/etc. and cannot benefit from Mettle granted by Spirits), for abilities like synergy this character may still trigger the boost for others if applicable. Whenever this character is targeted by an attack, Force Power, or Ability an adjacent ally becomes the target regardless of targeting rules that would otherwise prevent it, if there are no adjacent allies this character remains the target.
