This character is considered living until it is first reduced to 40 hit points, at which point it is considered Undead and loses Reanimated Dead, all unspent Force points and Force powers

Glossary Text

This character is a living being who is riding the re-animated corpse of a once-living being. So long as the character has not yet been reduced to 40 hit points for the first time, it is considered living, with all things that are associated with it: subject to commander effects, critical hits, healing, etc. The first time the character is reduced to 40 hit points, the Sith Necromancer dies and the character is now purely Undead and should be considered as such; thus, it loses all Force points, Force powers and the Reanimated Dead special ability. It is now non-living and subject to all of the following rulings found in Glossary section for Undead.
