Replaces attacks: Choose an enemy Commander Effect this character is within range of. Until the end of the round adjacent allies may benefit from that commander effect, any faction specific limitations are ignored.

Glossary Text

On this characters turn instead of making it's regular attack, you may instead choose an enemy commander effect. This character must be within the range of the commander effect as though it were in the enemy squad in order to choose it. Ignoring any faction specific limitations, adjacent allies who qualify for all other parts of the commander effect (i.e. "Trooper"/Melee/non-Melee) may receive the benefit for the rest of the round. An ally must be adjacent when they first utilize the effect (i.e. if the effect grants a replaces attacks ability the ally must be adjacent when they replace their attacks).
