Nei Rin was a Master Shaper who, alongside Master Kol Skywalker, spearheaded the Ossus Project which sought to rebuild the planets ravaged by the Yuuzhan Vong War. The project was sabotaged by the Sith, instigating the war between the Fel Empire and the Galactic Alliance.
