http://www.bloomilk.com/forums/default.aspx?g=posts&m=229130ABOVE: SURF-RIDER56's STAT CARD ARCHIVE
has blanks you can make into whatever stat card you'd like.
If you want archives of the sets,
use the wayback machine or |SEARCHENGINEOFPREFERENCE| to find one of the better archives
No distinct Preference as there's many good ones.
Recommend you start with
"The Lost 20" Stat Card List, to print those out
as a 140-240 GSM cardstock.
before we talk about Styrene, and more exotic ways to put statcards together!
think, like Uno Cards which float on water and are waterproof...
imagine an indestructible SW card...
You can print off replacement statcards indeed.
There are scanned indexes of the original set statcards
which are print-readied scalar vector arts.
You can find those at gamers and at tabletop boardgame simulator etc.
they're all watermarked as not original in multiple ways,
so, you can't pass those off as 'original mint condition'
for stuff like Mel's Miniatures newer figs etc.
Indeed, you might have say,
Knight Models Star Wars, or, Imperial Assault etc,
you have custom figures and you want custom statcards
there were folks like SurfRider56, CerusMutor, Neil and Frank,
who made statcard makers.
You need to use a web-archival time machine to go back 12 years for some of those web-based stat card automaters to work properly.
Well, at least for the WotC style stat cards.
For the VSET stuff, the VSETS released how they made the statcards,
like which fonts and custom-character-set etc, to make it.
VSET Statcards from like KezzaMachine etc, or the point-people,
allow you to print those off.
I have also made a "Business Card Automator"
which will allow you to procedurally iteratively generate statcards like ColorByNumbers,
iterate through OEIS/ CONWAY-COXETER numbers,
and to also cost your figures.
I made it to make making NPCs for your SWRPG easier,
and, to change the format of the VSETS, (Particularly TheLost20)
into the Classic SWMinis Statcard format.
It is possible to also batch-test and simulate
in VASSAL, in Tabletop Boardgame Simulator etc,
so you can playtest before you make a custom 'alpha' available for betatesting etc.
I don't recommend going to just your local walmart etc,
they will read you the riot act about things when they see TM etc
so, I recommend using 180-240GSM cardstock,
you can use lighter photo-paper style things.
Lazer-Jet onto a vinyl style "vinyl wrap",
sealed in Armor All UltraEverDry,
is that "old book smell" that Adam Savage talks about in his DaVinci Codexes.
You want 180-240GSM, and 'diamond dithered" for the print offsets and guttering.
The embosser for the face-side is difficult to do so that the obverse doesn't have creases from the embossing,
and, if you put holofoil decoupage on the Face side,
it can be difficult to then laminate
I also make very special
"Carbonite" full metal stat cards, again, embossed,
and now, thanks to Conchliocco,
I am offering "Carbon-Carbon" stat cards
Metal Embossed "metalbook" and CarbonCarbon are special for peoples weddings or,
posthumously for Squelchdog (ave, Squelchy!)
