If you're concerned that time might run short before an event starts, be sure to send me a BM beforehand, just so that we know that we have another person coming. I don't mind waiting a few minutes if it means that more people get to play. But we will need to know that you're coming. The simplest thing is just to simply send in your info a couple of days ahead of time, so that we already have all you registration info, then you don't need to stress about possibly being too late.

The last time I played in an event I couldn't finish due to unforseen circumstances and I hate that. So I don't want that to happen again. So going to make sure I can actually finish what I start. Appreciate all the work from you all!

Joe (gandalfthegreatestwizard) has volunteered to lead some of the events. Thanks Joe! (He'll be leading 4 of the events, and I'll be leading the other 4.) He did this with 2 of the events last year, and it went well.
I've therefore added a note (in red font) at the bottom of each event, which indicates who is leading the event and therefore who you should send your squad info to.

Thursday, September 4 10:00 am Eastern (9:00 am Central): 500pt Epic Tournament In the past we often haven’t begun Vassal Con until the evening on Thursday. However, for those of us who’ve scheduled the day off from work and would like to play, we’ll be running an optional event earlier in the day. I’ve often heard people talk about how they’d like to play the Epic 500pt format again, so here’s your chance!
Rules for this tournament: --Your squad must include exactly 1 Epic character (look in the Epic I and Epic II and Epic III sets, here on BM…there are a total of 24 characters to choose from). Gambit is 25 pts in this tournament, and only your Epic character can score Gambit. --Your squad may contain a MAXIMUM of 3 active Commander Effects. This will help to keep the craziness a little bit less crazy. When you submit your squad, please indicate which 3 CEs you will be using for the tournament; the rest of the CEs in your squad will be permanently disrupted, even though those characters will still be considered Commanders (not Followers). --Your squad may contain no more than 16 characters (including Reinforcements etc). --Advanced Battle Meditation does not work for this tournament. Map List: Restricted Map List [At least 30 minutes prior to the start of this event, please submit your squad info to thereisnotry via BM.]
For Thrawn, does his CE count as 2? Commander Effect Allies gain Opportunist. At the end of this character's turn, 2 allies within 6 squares of this character who are the same size may switch positions.

Not to speak for Trevor but because there's no card space in between the two parts of Thrawn's CE, it has always been treated as a single CE.
