Balance Committee Suggestions for the 2026 SeasonHere's your Balance Committee Suggestions thread for the 2026 tournament season. In this thread, we will compile a comprehensive list of potential discussion topics for the upcoming season. To contribute, create a single post for each topic you'd like the Balance Committee (BC) to discuss. Feel free to include a brief paragraph summarizing the topic and provide links to related discussion threads if applicable. PLEASE Go Here, if you want to discuss these topics or the role of the Balance Committee. This thread is not for debate or discussion. For engaging in conversations, please refer to existing threads or start your own. We want to make sure that player requests don’t get lost in the midst of heated discussions. The inclusion of a topic on our list doesn't guarantee it will be discussed fully by the BC. I think San Hill’s second CE really needs to be looked at. Right now, he’s able to move any character 12 squares while ignoring attacks of opportunity. That feels overly strong, in my opinion.
The main issue is that it isn’t just little support pieces he’s tossing around. He can also move a Large base character with Flight, like Durge on Speeder, which is pretty ridiculous.
I suggest limiting it to Medium base characters only and removing the ignores AoOs portion. Grievous has Wall Climber, so keeping this CE toned down still fits within the design intent.

"Io, Triumphe!", Urbanjedi's, 2-time major winning squad ( 2023 & 2024 ), was #1 after Swiss, and was beaten 2 times in the 2025 200pt VassalCon Champs by Tulak squads, in swiss and in the semi-finals against the eventual winner, Randy. With "Tulak", being in the "hotseat", would a "nerfed", Tulak, have led to "Io Triumpe!", being a 3-time championship winner in 3 years?
My proposal ( discussion purposes, of course ) would be to remove "Independent Outfit" on both "The Mandolorian" and "Montross".

I propose a change to the Identical Forces Special ability. Current Text... Quote:Identical Forces (At the end of its turn, this character can switch positions with an ally within 6 squares who is the same size and has Identical Forces) Proposed change... Quote:Identical Forces (At the end of its turn, this character can switch positions with an ally within 6 squares who is the same size and has Identical Forces. Each character may only be moved once per phase via this effect.) This will force a character like the agent to spend at least 1 phase in the open. The ability is in essence a Trawn SWOP every turn. If it is a problem on Tulak, it may eventually be a problem in other squads.

I suggest returning Admiral Daala to her original printed stat block with the following change to the CE... Quote:Imperial trooper allies gain Double Attack. In my opinion the worst part of Admiral Daala is that the Charging Fire is not in keeping with the Faction's overall theme and Mechanics. With Double Attack instead, the Admiral Daala player builds a kill box and you have to bust it up. This is a better scenario I believe, than allowing the troopers to attack from a range of 12+ squares.

I am suggesting that we remove Light Tutor from Master Thon. Advanced Battle Meditation does not need the additional boost.
