thereisnotry defeats UrbanShmi 202-38 (3-0) on Gangster's Vault
I won the map roll and Laura set up on the left. Han and Leia swapped for their cooler versions and took Opportunist +20 and Cunning Attack +10, respectively.
Round 1: Positioning. Wookiee Roar to wound Leia, Tow and swap to put Mace in the safe alcove on the west side of the gambit zone. Gambit for both. 10-10.
Round 2: Laura won init. Scorch moved up to shatterbeam the central door near my people. 3P0 and Sabine moved forward. Mas spins, Spaarti advances to be near Mace. Leia activated (which triggered Chewie's Walking Carpet) and shot the Spaarti, then her CE moved both Chewie and Luke forward. Luke then ran up to mace and a flurry of attacks happened. Hit vs Mace, Riposte for a Crit, successful Djem So save, successful LS Defense save (phew!), hits from Djem So, Flurry, Riposte, successful Djem So, a few more hits and misses...etc. After the dust had settled, Luke walked away with 50hp remaining. Doombot towed Ky up into a position where Master pushed Asajj forward, then Ky used Leaping Assault to hit Luke twice (bodyguarded both times), and both times Luke made a Djem So save, so Ky was down to 50hp after that. Han finished Ky (Force Bubble only delayed the inevitable), then Chewie hit Asajj twice (down to 10hp). Asajj used Dark Temptation to attack Chewie but then rolled a 1 to miss and her other attack was parried...then she failed her DT save, so she joined my squad. Panaka yelled, "Traitor!" and killed Asajj (Chewie didn't bodyguard for her). Gambit for me. 127-38.
Round 3: Laura won init. Scorch used Proximity Mines on Chewie, then bravely ran away. Luke eliminated Panaka. Chewie killed Doombot then shot at Scorch, doing some damage due to bad Shield rolls. Mas moved forward with bravery. Leia moved up and shot at Mas, then her CE pushed Han and Luke. Han moved up and finished off both Scorch and Mas. Gambit for me. 202-38.
I think I had three 20s in this game, while Mace only rolled 1 of them (which was blocked)...and then I had an 18 at some point too. So I had the Mace Dice, but Laura was playing him. The Twin-Djem-So thing was the biggest factor in this match...Luke had 6 extra attacks against Mace, thanks to the combination of Djem So and being hit by an AoO. It's always good to play against Mace...as long as he doesn't go on a crit spree and make your entire squad look like Jango Fett. Thanks for the game, Laura!

urbanjedi defeated darkdracul (197-110) 2-1
I won map roll which was huge and we played on gangsters vault.
Rd 1 just positioning and I got gambit
Rd 2 Things started getting more interesting as Jango made a deep strike and but missed the uggie. ahsoka defensed the damage away. Then ahsoka was using her practice lightsaber and only hit 1 of 4 against jango.
Rd 3 more stuff happened. Jango survived barely, and maul died because he missed a defense save. And I killed the sith holocron by using a FP to take its last 2 force (since ezra has artifact defender)
Rd 4 Jango finally died to ahsoka, and I got some more gambit
Rd 5 Ahsoka finally went down to flamethrower from din, self destruct from the demolitionist, and a missed defense. The nexus ran out of force, and the jedi holocron died because ahsoka just threw it on the ground when she died. Ezra was came out and did some damage to kelborn
Rd 6 Ezra finished off kelborn to secure a point for bryan. and ezra kept making shien
Rd 7 Timer went off early and there wasn't much to do, ezra got some gambit and did some damage to the resurrector, and then made his shiens to stay alive.
Final score was 197-110 Urban jedi wins.
This game would have been very different if bryan had won map. And while bryan had some good dice on shiens, I won the 2 really key inits, ahsoka had some awful attack dice, and made her dominate save (even with a reroll) at another key time. So this game was much closer than the score might indicate.
