Tint and I will see who can roll the best "Vassall Dice" on Saturday at 11:00am ( Pacific ) ( Never tell me the odds! ) @ Tint; Can we just settle this with a friendly game of Sabacc? Or how about a brutal game of Dejarik? I'll play anything that doesn't involve "Vassal Dice"

Lightsaber defeats a severely sleep-deprived UrbanShmi 265-77 (3-0) on Warrior's Enclave.
I set up on the right side and give Tsalok a Shaper and Avoid Defeat, while keeping the Force, Shaper, and Amphistaff on Tsavong. Once again, Vongerella was added through the Eighth Cortex Re-Enforcements.
Round 1: I set up on the right, and Jelly the door to Gambit. Shmi almost pulls off a cool shot on Harrar, but the LOS goes through the Zonoma Sekot scout, so she just advances. At the end of the round Tsalok, Tsavong, Vongerella and Khalee all charge up the central hallway to gambit, 0-0
Round 2: I win a critical initiative and move Tsalok to dismember an unfortunately-placed Mothma. Sabine throws a grenade that the massive Commander dodges (??), and Kanan runs in to do some damage. Of course, the VASSAL dice betray Shmi again, and Kanan misses an attack, doing a grand total of 30 damage. Vongerella charges up the corridor and does cool shenanigans with Nagme to fling Nagme into the action, where he/she/it Climbs over everyone and does 30 damage to Rieekan. Ahsoka doesn't like that, so she Assaults Nagme, giving Tsalok a Retaliatory Attack against Kanan, dealing 50 damage. Ezra lays down some supporting fire that the incredibly acrobatic Tsalok also dodges, taking a total of 10 damage. Khalee runs above Tsalok to watch, and Tsavong prepares for an incredible attack. Bail circles behind the Rebels, and almost takes a pot shot at Khalee, before remembering that it's a terrible idea to wound the Vong. I get gambit as Tsalok is firmly placed there, and none of the Rebels dare to get close.
Round 3: Shmi wins initiative with the help of Rieekan/Recon, and uses Kanan to get a juicy Barrage off on Khalee, Tsalok, and Tsavong... but she chose the wrong character to attack. Khalee went down, and Tsalok and Tsavong immediately sent Kanan to the Shadow Realm. Tsavong climbs some walls to eliminate Bail and Rieekan and activates Scarification with YYD, and Tsalok uses the Consul's movement breaker to pulverise Sabine. Ezra runs past Dooje - who gives him a love tap on the way past - and makes a Twin against the adjacent Tsavong, who takes 20. Various Vong use Leia like a pinata. Gambit for me.
Round 4: Shmi wins initiative, and I start fearing a comeback as Ahsoka kills Tsavong. The angry Vong hit R2-D2, Tsalok and Vongerella kill Ezra tortuously (Vongerella only hit because of the -1 def), and the rest of the Vong spin in mindless circles.
Round 5: I win initiative, and land a meaty hit on Ahsoka for 50 (down to 70), but miss the other attack. She Assaults, landing 30 damage, and then runs and hides like a piece of Rebel scum. R2-D2 perishes, givin Tsalok the boost he needs to give chase.
Round 6: Shmi wins initative, and Ahsoka attempts to score a point by attacking Nen Yim and Cleaving into the 40hp Vongerella... but of course, the VASSAL dice have been bribed by the Empire and bestow a 1 upon the unfortunate Shmi. Tsalok runs over and hits for 50, and Vongerella smirks as she fries Ahsoka to death.
Most of this game was an uphill battle for the Rebels, as losing Mothma early meant less damage output and the Vong Carb Armor became incredible. For most of the game, Ezra and Ahsoka were pouring firepower into Tsavong and Tsalok, but Carb save 2 means that I was only taking 10 damage each time. Sometimes I wonder how fair a 27-point piece dealing 50 damage a hit is... then I remember it's my squad, so no balance changes needed ;)

gandalf's Jedi defeat Mando's Sith 238-98 in a lightning-fast game on Cloud City
I won map and Trevor took the left, setting up in the gallery/hallway. The Jedi were on the platform next to the shuttle.
The action got started midway through round 1 with Coleman getting towed and then unloading into Naga Sadow. C-Man hit all four needing 5s but failed two Master Illusion saves (16s) so Naga lived with 50HP. Sidious dominated Naga and his Virulent blade made quick work of C-Man. However, Dark Woman took her revenge, using Master Speed and Assault to finish Naga off (he had no FP left for Illusion). I got gambit with D-Woman. 73-14
Round 2, Trevor won init and Exar used Assault to clear out Dark Woman. Yoda got towed in and hit 1 attack, then he backtracked and his LS Throw got defensed (Exar on 130HP). We both moved some guys- the mutants were a bit too far from their targets with Naga gone. Eventually Foul lifted Saesee and he assaulted twice on Exar through the door in gambit, hitting 2/4. Exar defensed one so was on 100HP. I made the mistake of not hightailing it out of there, so Sid dominated Exar and he struck back against Saesee. Saesee made a block and one missed so 40HP left. A mutant hit Saesee for 30 more. Hero Spaarti rolled a crit on a different mutant. 88-46
Round 3, I won the all-important init. Saesee assaulted twice with Cunning which finished off Exar and a Mutant. Exar started haunting my squad so everyone lost 2 Force every time they activated. The Sith killed Saesee, R2 and a couple of ugnaughts but the rest was cleanup with Yoda, Yaddle and Foul slaying the rest of the mutants and dispelling Exar's ghost into round 4.
Tough matchup between two very powerful squads. Key moments were taking out Naga Sadow in round 1 (trading two cheap attackers for just him, effectively) which made the mutants less potent, and then winning the rd 3 init so that Saesee could go crazy and kill Exar before dying.

thereisnotry defeats DarthMaim 226-56 (3-0)
Mel won map so we played on Frigid Outpost; I set up on the right. I set up my Gatekeeper Droid beside the door on the south side of the gambit room. Mel brought an AAO with the 8th Cortex's CE.
Round 1: Basic advancement, no gambit. 0-0.
Round 2: More advancement. My pieces took up positions within the gambit room, while the Vong slowly crept up the hallway to the west of it. San pushed Maul forward, who then stepped in and whacked Vua Rapung twice (10dmg all day long because of VCA6)...Vua made several CounterAttack rolls, but his mojo wasn't strong enough to overcome Maul's slick style. Gambit for me. 11-0.
Round 3: Mel won init and went first. Vua attacked Maul and hit twice this time (Cunning Attack), so Maul was down to 100hp. Cad Bane then used Furious Assault to shoot everything in the hallway (7 guys), which killed the AAO, Zenomo Scout, and Uggie. Minor damage to a few other pieces. Maul then finished off Vua. Vua and Khalee both laid into Maul, for a grand total of 10dmg (down to 90) after the dust settled...meanwhile the aoo's that hit Khalee so she could get into position were significant (down to 20hp). San pushed Grievous forward, and then Grievous used Spinning Blade to hit everything that Cad left alive. Khalee went down (Retaliatory Attack dropped Maul to 80hp), and some other pieces took a little bit of damage (VCA6 vs no dmg boosts means almost everything was doing 10dmg all game). GG landed 2 spaces from Tsalok so I figured that he'd only be taking 1 attack (no double)...but I forgot Melee Reach 2! Tsalok sent Grievous home. I advanced some pieces. Yogand sent Maul home. Vongerella killed a Drone. Asajj killed Vongerella. No gambit. 97-53 for me.
Round 4: Mel won init. Denua hit Asajj for 30dmg (down to 80), but she then killed Denua and stepped back into the gambit room. Cad Bane found a nifty LOS on Dooje Brolo, but the guy evaded both attacks. Dooje killed a Drone (quickstrike from Yogand). San pushed Grievous forward. My Gatekeeper finally did something and locked the door in the face of Tsalok and Yogand. Gambit for me.
Round 5: I won init. Cad ran away and used FA to shoot both Tsalok and Yogand, but good evade dice meant no damage at all. Meanwhile my BX Infiltrator had been tracking down that evil 8th Cortex Shaper. He did some damage on an aoo as the Shaper and Nagme bravely ran away. San pushed Maul forward. Tsalok opened the hallway door so that Yogand could run a long way to base Cad Bane. I unlocked the door and Grievous attacked Tsalok for a sweet 10dmg (down to 90hp). Asajj used Cad's CE to charge into Yogand for 60dmg after armor (10hp left). Maul punched Tsalok for another 10dmg. No gambit. 133-56 for me.
Round 6: Mel won init and Tsalok smaked Grievous hard (down to 10hp). Grievous fought back, doing 20dmg after armor (down to 60hp), despite Torture crippling his attack down to +6. Maul finally took down Tsalok, with a little help from a crit. Cad killed Yogand. Asajj used Cad's CE to charge a long way and kill the 8th Cortex Shaper. San stepped into gambit. Gambit for me. 226-56.
My attack dice were insane in rounds 2 and 3...most rolls were 15+, and I think there were 2 crits in there. That helped a lot when I had no dmg boosts and most attacks were doing just 10dmg after VCA6. Cad Bane's first Furious Assault was important because it removed the AAO's Cunning Attack from the equation. Meanwhile, Mel's attack dice were wonderfully horrible: lots of 2, 3, 1, etc...not good when his guys needed 10s or 15s to hit Maul. Beyond the lopsided dice, the difficult terrain and low objects slowed Tsalok a lot...as a result he only made a total of 4 attacks in this game (all of them against poor ol' Grievous, who was a model citizen and never did wrong to anyone). Thanks for the game, Mel!

Just a reminder everyone, that I am leaving out of the USA at 6:00pm ( Pacific ), on Tuesday, April 21st, and I will be back on Thursday, April 30th, at 5:00pm ( Pacific ). Ideally, if I could play my round 4 opponent on Monday, April 20th or Tuesday April 21st, in the morning or afternoon, that would be great. If not, like I mentioned in 2 previous posts in the main GE forum, I can just take the L. Hopefully the last match can be played today or tomorrow, or even on Monday. I'm good either way

spryguy1981 (3) defeats Hi-Fives (0) 240-64 on Warrior's Enclave
Fives chose to switch to Luke-GH and took Duelist.
Having the activation advantage here was pretty key to my success in this one. That and his 0-7 on saves.
Round 1 was positioning on his part. I used Charging Assaults and Furious Assaults to put 100 on Saba.
Round 2 he wins init and moves Saba away. Greedo snares the Barabel Twins. Mara slides in and takes out Mira. T0-D0 distracts Mara and Cad and Moralo finish her off with a Cad crit. Asajj kills an uggie with a grip and Aurra finishes the Barabel twins. Moralo in gambit.
Round 3 I set up the recon and win init. Aurra charges in and finishes Saba. Luke then obliterates Aurra. Ganner kills a mouse. T0-D0 distracts Ganner and Cad and Asajj finish him off. Moralo kills the other Uggie.
Round 4 he wins init and uses Luke to try and damage Asajj but she makes both of her parries with a reroll. Cad and Asajj finish off Luke and Moralo kills the other mouse droid.
The 0-7 saves rolls was just brutal as heck. None of his ppl got to make their cool Luke saves. T0-D0's distraction made it harder on him also. It's always a fun game vs Fives. Best of luck the rest of the way.
