I have submitted my squad that works best... although if anyone is reading the forum and feeling too shy to join in, I have like 10 squads of varying complexity and effectiveness that you can borrow. I'd love to no longer be 'the new guy'

@ Mando. I really love playing the GE format. The problem for me for the Spring 2026 session, is that I will be on vacation, out of the country, Wednesday, April 22nd to Wednesday, April 29th. I will not be able to play a match while I am gone. Is it possible for me to have a bye that week ( if we have an odd number of players ) or if not, just take an auto loss, for that week? I really don't want to forfeit the entire tourney for missing just 1 week. An Imperial credit for your thoughts, kind sir.................................

We can just extend the time to get the game in an extra week. That way you can get it in when you get back. Hoping that we have 1 more person join so we can be at 8 total.

Important note: If you use a Reinforcements piece, you must submit your up to 10 separate lists of preferred reinforcements prior to the start of a rounds matchups.
Can you please explain this more? Specifically the "10 separate lists" part. I'm confused about that . Also, can I send you my preferred Reinforcements each round or do I have to give all of them at the beginning of the tournament? Also, to confirm, is the allowable reinforcements point total 50% max of the point total of your squad?

(Mando) intends to implement it in this tournament but here's the ruling. Quote:Limited (sideboard) Reinforcement/added characters. Characters added to a squad must be listed with the squad during registration. Specified characters added (Porgs, Rackghouls) do not require a list. Only CEs and abilities involving a choice of characters. For each instance, (CE, Reinforcements, Reserves, Bribery, etc.) lists of characters may not exceed the build total. e.g. 200pt constructed: 200pt max Reinforcements, 200pt max Reserves, ect. Lists of optional characters will remain concealed with a judge or T.O. until the end of the tournament. Players are not required to reveal lists of optional characters to their opponents. Opponents may request judge verification so long as it does not interrupt gameplay. At its heart, the rule is meant to ensure games are decided more by skill and preparation, rather than letting players automatically hard-counter opponents without making any metagame predictions in advance. By restricting how many options can be swapped between rounds, it also limits excessive adjustments and helps keep games flowing smoothly by reducing downtime and analysis paralysis.

I do want everyone to be aware of something that I will be implementing for this tournament. There are some recent changes to the designs of 3 pieces from v-set 29. Mon Mothma, IG-88B and HR Knight. If you are planning on using these pieces in your escalation, be aware that they will be having their changes shown on bloomilk shortly. Please feel free to adjust your squad submission if you want to and resubmit it to me on bloomilk if needed. These changes had been in discussions for over a month and they have just recently been finalized and ready to be put on the physical cards when they go to the printers.

Just for clarification purposes; In round 3 ( 225pts ), I am bringing another character that can bring in a reinforcement/added character; do I send it to the ( TO ) now, or when I send in my round 3 squad?

Also, characters brought in from CE & special abilities are automatic, so they don't need to be submitted at registration because they aren't "Reinforcements or Reserves"?

CE does have to be submitted (Characters added to a squad must be listed with the squad during registration. Specified characters added (Porgs, Rackghouls) do not require a list. Only CEs and abilities involving a choice of characters, as Mando said). I think you should be allowed to change re-enforcements etc between rounds as you're changing your squad between rounds.
