Beginning in March, Tucson will have DCI tournaments once again! I have spoken with the owner of Amazing Discoveries, and he wants to start having Star Wars Miniature tournaments. I will be judging and the owner will be the TO. He is fully willing to support tournaments despite Wizards ending support in the near future.
There are a couple of things I hope to get from fellow Tucson area players:
- Spread the word! We need to advertise this and bring in the people who have played casually at other venues in the past.
- Send me your thoughts on entry fees (only required if prize support is wanted), frequency of tournaments, and how we want to play in the DCI system.
- Share any suggestions you might have.
I will also be posting this on Wizards and SWMGamers. Hope to start seeing my fellow players in March!
