If an opponent has Tactics Broker in their squad and I have San Hill on my team, would I get reserves since my initiave check becomes 1 before the dice is rolled and cannot be modified?

Yes. It is counted as your dice roll was a 1.

Yes because your roll becomes an automatic 1.

And this is a valuable lesson about using the MTB - unless you know for sure what you will be facing, it is best to bring in the MTB with Garm, Lobot etc AFTER you see your opponent's squad Laugh

Can't bring the Muun in with Garm, he only brings in Rebel and/or NR figs.

The one with the MTB have to roll the dice , before the one with San Hill put his reserve .
Because if he roll a 1 both of them have to reroll the dice. And the one with San Hill have no reserve.

excuse me for my english for the orthographBlushing

MTB only puts your opponent's initiative check at 1, while you still have to roll for initiative, anything you roll beyond a 1 allows you to choose who goes first.

However, reading the FAQs... it states on the Tactics broker that:
Only in the case of a tie (that is, the player with Tactics Broker also rolling a 1) would the Tactics Broker ability be lost.
Bloomilk: If a tie requires rerolling initiative, this ability cannot be used again for tie-breaking.
