The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of Bloo Milk.

No. Sight is a range. They still follow normal targetting rules unless it says otherwise.

I often wondered about sight as well. Does Tarkin's sight work on cloaked for activation bonuses?

Anytime the word 'sight' is mentioned, it's referring to 'Line of Sight'. The reason why people get all tripped up on stuff like Force Push 4 or Grip 4, is that the word "sight" in the card description is in place of the words "range 6" for other abilities. It has nothing to do with targetting, just the range of the attack.

However, with things like Tarkin's CE which requires "sight" as well, those are just referring to "Line of Sight", and does not matter if a piece has "super stealth" or not.

The thing to remember with Special Abilities and Force Powers is that they follow a pattern.

So, Force Grip 4 looks like this:

Force Grip 4 (Force 4, replaces attacks: sight; 40 damage)

The format is ALWAYS

Ability/Power name
cost [if any]
a comma
when it can be used (replaces attacks/turn, useable on this character's turn, etc.)
semi-colon
range restriction (sight, range 6, adjacent, etc.)
ability description

They are all worded that way. There's always a semi-colon between the "how often" portion and the "range" portion.

And the other thing to remember is that ALL abilities follow the normal targeting rules unless they SPECIFICALLY say otherwise (see Vader's Lightsaber Throw 5).

Yes, because Lightsaber Throw 5 ignores all cover.

As no character has cover, Cloaked would not be in effect.

But do remember, Vader just ignores the cover for purposes of targetting. The pieces still get the +4 bonus to defense (something I didn't realize until just recently myself).
