November is sneaking up, and that means, MinisMania III. Once again the 500 dollar cash prize is returning, and the Grandmaster Luke Skywalker Championship. This year however, the format will be different in an effort to mix things up, provide something new, fresh, and fun. This year, the format will be 300 points. There is a 20 point act limit. Act control will be banned. So leave Ozzel, Dodonna, San Hill at the house. Also there will be a 5 Commander Effect limit, and as always the BHC pieces are not legal. I always wanted Minis Mania to be a 300 point format, and so we're going for it this year...so brand new set to use, new format, same great prize support. It's going to be fun to see what everyone builds.

Not that I'm able to attend, but do you mean this year's BHC pieces, all BHC pieces, or Epics?

So every squad will be pile of dudes and enough activations to get to 20? Not really feeling that.

Yeah Lord Krayt is act control. And yeah we're not using any of the BHC pieces, last years, or this years.

and Weeks, sorry you feel that way, but I'm not really feeling standard 200. The format has grown stale and boring to me.

Scoring for Minis Mania will be different from the traditional 3-2 point system. At Minis Mania, we will keeping track of victory points throughout the tournament. The top 4 players with the best record, and highest victory point total will make the playoffs. The person/player ranked #1 through swiss play will get to select what squad he plays in the first round of the playoffs.

Minis Mania III is in Tennessee, and no, Epics are not legal.

@Pegolego sure glad to do it, here is the basic info Saturday, November 9th is Minis Mania, it takes place @ The Jamestown Community Center located at 629 N. Main Street, Jamestown TN. 38556. Entrance fee into the event is 20 dollars. Game starts at 10Am, we will play two rounds then break for lunch. We will also be having events Friday evening for all of those people coming from out of town who are staying the night.
