Hey guys, I was just reading up on why Darth Caedus, Sith Lord may not be quite competitive in the current Meta.
He is still Teir 1 though. What do you guy think the list of Squad types are for the Current Meta?
Daala Snowtroopers
Skybuck
Talon squads
OR squads with Satale Shan and Atton 'Jaq' Rand
Dooku Squads with Poggle Bombs and the Sniper/Spotter Combo.
Naboo Troopers
Prof Luke's Art Class
Mace with GOWK and Rex
Yoda Hero of Geonosis and Mace.
Anything else that I'm missing? Any other options should be able to handle the above squad types.
There is still MANY other teir 1 squads out there, but they might not be able to handle the above squads very well right now.

In all honesty Daala and her various builds are in a completely different category from all of the squads you have listed. When it comes to viable squads to run at a competitive tournament it's Daala or antil Daala. That is where the game is at the moment.

i did very well with Durge on speeder at Kokomo. One bad move and 1 bad roll killed me. but other5 than that i think it could be tier 1. IT does well against alot of squads the way i ran it at least. DUrge can take out small pieces or do a fair amount of damage to 1 piece. Cad bane BH, Can clean up with Furious assault on small pieces or put an additional 40 on several Enemies. and with Assajj nightsister she can move 18 and do 70 to a big hitter without much of an issue.

How do you define anti-Daala? There are multiple Daala builds that have different hate squads.
As far as the current meta, we can start with last year's meta:
Separatist Lancer/Poggle bombs
OR - Thon Song
Professor Luke's Art Class
Republic Naboo
Rebel Cannon + Ackbar
Kyle/Jan Ors
Thrawn Swap (various viable options)
Sith Revan/Krayt
Cloaked Mandos
Caedus (various versions)
Then from these past two sets add in:
At least 4 different Daala builds (Raxus, Elite Scout, Snows with or without extra commanders)
Talon + Klats
Talon + Embo
Rebel Luke/Leia on Speeder
Rebel Tantive IV build
BHC Dooku
And from the forgotten bin that's still good:
Skybuck
NR Solo Charge
Rebel Commandos
"Standard" OR: Bastila/Jaq/Beatsticks
Revan/Lord Kaan
Double Lancer
That's a big Tier 1. Sorry, I don't play any Vong so I don't know if any Vong squad is finally ready to break into Tier 1.

I think there's potential there with both the recent Grievous on Wheel Bike and the recent Durge - and Durge has already made the top 4 twice in a Regional.
I think Vong can be really good with the combination of Sha'kel as a movement breaker and the Quednak as a cloaked galloper. They have some bad matchups, but should be able to have a really good shot against swarms like Tantives and Daala Troopers if they get the right map.

That's a big Tier 1. Sorry, I don't play any Vong so I don't know if any Vong squad is finally ready to break into Tier 1. What about Mace in the Face? You don't think Mace GOWK and Rex with Doombot is competitive now? Otherwise that looks like a pretty good list.

Other than the Cloaked Mandos I think Mandalore the Resurrector, Kelborn and Fenn Shysa makes a pretty competitive build.
Talon with the Geonosians are pretty good too.
