Can you Override your opponents Override? Options

MAINEiac and I were playing tonight, and we were wondering if each of us had a droid(or other character with Override), and I override a door on my turn with my droid, can he override the same door on his turn?

Ok, so I assume Door Gimmick will also open a door that has been Overidden?

No, only Override, Satchel Charge or Shatter Beam can open a door that has been Overridden shut.

Also, the fact that you can't door gimmick an Overidden door is explicitly noted in Door Gimmick's glossary definition.

Ah, yes, I ought to read more of the glossary ;) Sure enough(just looked in my Clone Wars Starter rules book), Override does work against an Overridden door. ;) I was wondering about the usefulness of Satchel Charge/Shatterbeam in a skirmish, now I know. ;)

ok, if i have two guys with door gimmick, can one of them open the door.. and then with my second activation fire through the door with character "X" (and have another door gimmick person combine fire), can I now close the door with door gimmick after I shoot?

Door Gimmick can't close doors at all. From the glossary:

Quote:
At the end of its turn, this character can designate one door within line of sight as open. The door remains open until the end of this character's next turn, or until the end of a turn in which this character is defeated. Other characters can't close the door unless they use the Override special ability. Door Gimmick doesn't work on a door being held closed by the Override special ability.
