Hi everyone, I'm helping with the play-testing committee, and going forward I'm the primary community contact person. So if you'd like to help with Playtesting for v-set 13, please contact me and I'll be in touch with a piece you can help test. If you could let me know what faction you're most interested in, that would be great - if you're not sure what you're interested in testing, testers for New Republic and Imperial pieces would be especially appreciated. I'll try and work with you to give you designer feedback on your tests, and about what squads other people have been testing - I know in the past it's been frustrating to test and not hear back. I've also tried to cut down the playtesting form so it's shorter and less intimidating. Quote:(1) Please list the VSET 13 mini(s) used with the stats.
(2) Squads
2A: Your name and squad, including reinforcements
2B: Your opponent's name and squad, including reinforcements
2C: Map
2D: Brief summary of game. How did the tested piece(s) perform? What did they achieve?
(3) Thoughts on the tested piece
(a) Did you understand how the SA/CE work after reading them just once? If you were at all uncertain about anything, explain how you interpreted them.
(b) Is the cost accurate?
(c) What do you like about this piece? Does anything bother you about this piece? Thematically or in terms of gameplay? Does it obselete another piece?
(d) Do you have any other ideas for squads we should test this piece with? I understand that Bloomail has been a little unreliable, so it might be better to contact me via Facebook - I've just posted a thread there as well - or by e-mail funk AT paradise DOT net DOT nz

chainparalysis has just submitted his third good playtest report in less than a week - which means he's eligible to join the playtest committee.

I've had lots of good tests from chainparalysis and HoneHeron, but not really anything from anyone else outside the Playtest Committee. If anyone else would like a piece to test, please let me know.

Need about 25 more tests to be able to call the set completed (though some skirmishes could include multiple pieces to cut down on that number). Let us know if you can help.

And of course this is the best time to help because the final tests are on the most controversial pieces. Sign up to PT to make sure we don't break the game. Contact me or TheHutts. Probably safer to send messages over on swmgamers.com since bloomail is unreliable right now.
