Hi,
just tried to send two mail posts out to two different people and keep getting error pages. A friend says he tried to mail me last week and never could get through. What's up?

Yes! I'm having the same problem with quite a few members. I keep getting the "sorry about the mess" error page. I even sent a message to SHINJA via e-mail because I couldn't even bloomilk message him. But he has yet to respond back to me.

I actually kinda wish every member would include an e-mail address in their membership as an alternative way for contact. (I just updated my status and included an e-mail address). So many members I wanted to try and make a trade with but I just can't get a message through to them.

indeed,
bloomail seems to have gremlins at the moment;
when i try to send any, the firefox or safari or unixnetsplorer panel locks up,
and crashes.
i was lucky enough to get the error screen after a few attempts, where the browser window didn't lockup.

i can view the inbox however, and see mail inbound from 04/21/2016 onwards,
but cannot open and read mail from that date onwards till the present...
viewing mail from that time onward, or attempting to create and send new mail,
causes an error.
how odd

I tried to signout and sign back in,
thinking maybe it had been a timeout error or something,
but that didn't fix either hehe...

So would I be a pain in the butt if I asked for members to update their accounts and include an e-mail address?
I have tried to contact at least 4 different members to try and get a possible trade going and with all 4 attempts, I've gotten that same "sorry about the mess" error page. I just can't get messages through to certain members via bloomail. And I know for sure of other certain members who are also trying to reach out to others to propose a trade but are having the same rotten luck I'm having.

Is Bloomail going to be fixed? I am playtesting for Vset 13 and I cannot email my PT reports out. It is extremely frustrating to play a game and write the entire report out, just to have the error message come up and waste my time. Went to SWM Gamers and yet again, can't send a message. Could this issue also be holding people back from playtesting, because it does have me rethinking it. I want to help the communtiy out, but I don't want to waste my time typing reports either. I do that quite enough at my job. Thanks

They should be mailed on swmgamers anyway.

Shinja would have to be the one to address the bloomail issue.

Trying to contact through Bloo Mail is like drawing blood from diamond. It worked once in the past 6 months, and it's stil not working, despite my re-try total coming up to around 200 attempts with fail after fail. I don't know what's up with shinja since I sent him or her an email 3 months ago about it, and nothing has changed. It's really annoying honestly, and typing out emails is a pain for me because of crap internet. I am praying for a solution.

I suggest a solution be formulated soon, as it is still a good service to use when it actually works.

just an outside thought here, but this isn't a pay to use site. It's free. Losing bloomail is a pain, but we are getting a little too over-entitled. Maintaining a website and offering all features this site has is exhausting and has a financial burden along with it too. I can 100% understand why Shinja has been a little less than responsive.

Suggestion: Come up with a plan B.

Anyone know Shinja in real life? Might be nice to make sure he's okay.

A decent plan B I suppose would be putting emails on their accounts, but that also opens them up to be trolled or spammed by people. I've witnessed it happen before and it's not a nice thing, but it is the most effective way around this issue.
