Been collecting guys for my two young boys.
Managed to buy a few different collections through online classifieds.
Have averaged around 0.10 - 0.50 a figure.
We have around 1000 now, including AT-AT, AT-ST, Luke's snowspeeder, Rancor, Jaba and a bunch other super rares.
We haven't managed to get Boba Fett.
Some seller in Germany has 58! Like I can spend $40 on a single mini. Insane.

We've got plenty of doubles that we'd like trade and lots of figures that we'd like to be able to play with. We're almost done cataloguing everything we have, so we'll get a list up eventually.

If you have minis that you'd like to see go to a good home, where they'll have a solid decade of play, let me know. My boys are 7 & 5 and their sister is on her way to 2 and hopefully she'll get into the game when she's older too, so there's a long time of play ahead with these minis. I know the boys aren't old enough yet to really play, but their imaginative play is wonderful and they're learning how to keep a collection organized and develop rules to play fairly with eachother.

I pay $65 for my Boba Fett Bounty Hunter.

sometimes you just gotta pay for what you want.
I think you'll be surprised at the value of some of the SWM's pieces.

Yep, some pieces are gold. Most are not.

Value of (many years ago) handing my young son a Boba Fett, Bounty Hunter card from a booster won in a store promotion: PRICELESS. Human superball, he was. Fond memories.
