Alright, if there are no objections, the 200-point fall vassal regional will start on Sunday, September 10, which is when sign-ups will close. Give me a moment, and I will have an official sign up thread started (if you sign up in this thread you will still need to sign up in the as yet nonexistent one).

I totally think if we run another event we should do something along the lines of a different person builds a squad for the person playing it. We'd have to find a way to make it where the squad builders have to make the squad they are building competitive, perhaps someone neutral not in the event to run the squads by and say hey how does this look etc. I just think it would be interesting to see what someone would build for someone else to play that would be enjoyable.

I would not be interested in someone else's squad tbh.
I would like options.
If we made a list of good pieces that are not used that much and everyone was assigned a piece to build from that would be the way to go imo.
List like:
General Skywalker
Grand Admiral Thrawn
Han Solo, Captain of the Millenium Falcon
Anakin Solo, GH
Sora Bulq
Ommin Sith Sorcerer
Jace Malcolm, ORT
Boba Fett, Mercenary Commander
Dash Rendar, RS (all Fringe)

A theme tournament would be fun..... But setting parameters of "Theme" could be difficult...
Maybe a "Sub-Faction" tournament. Only pieces with the Subfaction tag and limited fringe option? (Uggie, Mouse,Brute, R7)

Or maybe a person picks a piece they want someone to build a squad around and then someone makes the squad that way.

Squad building is a big part of the fun for me.
I would rather have some kind of parameters for piece requirements and be able to build my own squad personally.

What about a tournament where we exclude v-sets 1 through 6? I would love to play something like this. I have always been curious as to where the meta would be if we cycled out the earliest v-sets.

You can use the search function, and exclude sets 1-6 to double check what your thinking of building. Or just do it in a faction you are thinking about, and browse to see what options are.
