Well one of my fav. jedi is the one and only Samuel L. Jackson.

but I can't come up with a squad that has him(in any reincarnation) that is half way competitive.

So I was wondering if anyone else has a squad including him that they have done good with.

thanksThumbsUp

The easy reply is the General Windu incarnation with Smuggler Dash in Dynamic Duo.

I've actually been thinking lately about a build using The Dark Woman, Captain Panaka, and then Mace Windu from Clone Strike. Walk through a wall, then swap in and Triple on something with Vaapad. Not sure what else to fill in the squad with, but could certainly be an interesting option.

I took 2nd in a 12 person a while back with this:

CS Windu 63
Captain Rex 33
Depa 29
Panaka 23
Chagrian Merc Commander13
R2 AM 9
Mas Amedda 8
178

Fill the last 22 points with swappers of your choice.

Basically Windu and Depa crit 15% of the time and with the Chageian hit for a whopping 60 damage. Depa has Force Sense to shut down Stealth figures for Rex to shoot.

It works pretty well, only lost to a 16 activation Loda Cannon with Disruptive and Han Smug but overall Windu can pound figures with the best of them. Highlight of the tourney was basing Bossk BH with Depa and then one-shot critting him for 60 on an AoO. Needless to say my opponent was angry haha.

Title Needed

63 Mace Windu
23 Captain Panaka
21 The Dark Woman
9 R2-D2, Astromech Droid
8 Mas Amedda
20 Gran Raider x5
6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2
(150pts. 12 activations)

I kind of went this way but it's kind feat or famine.

How about this?

http://bloomilk.com/Squads/View.aspx?ID=49227

--Shut yo' mouth!--
72 General Windu
28 Dash Rendar, Renegade Smuggler
24 Qui-Gon Jinn, Jedi Trainer
23 Captain Panaka
21 The Dark Woman
9 R2-D2, Astromech Droid
8 Mas Amedda
12 Gran Raider x3
3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
(200pts. 11 activations)

Dash gets 6 attacks, and the +4 bonus after he gets Light Tutor. Dark Woman with Double and +14 makes her pretty formidable actually. Panaka for swappage. :D

I just like the fact that people are trying new ways to play some of the older figs. We are not just seeing the same squads over and over again. Keep it fresh!!!

Have Windu, JM and can never seem to do well with him.

I tried a swapping squad, but he was my only real damage dealer.

He is just so expensive.

63 Mace Windu
55 Kazdan Paratus
33 Captain Rex
24 Ki-Adi-Mundi
9 Gha Nakt
5 Caamasi Noble
3 Ewok
2 Mouse Droid
6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

I know I know this group looks like too low of activations, however Kiadi mundi + Kazdan makes your squad grow EXPONENTIALLY in one or two moves. 40% chance of getting droid reserves each round. 2 or 3 of those and you are freaking powerful. If Mace windu and Rex can take care of what they can, then by the time your opponent tries to finish you off you have IG droids, T1's, and TONS of battle droids for activations if you need em. Assassin droids are nice too :)

I like that squad, but I might consider dropping the Uggy and Scorch for the original Gree, as the extra 2 squares and no AoOs helps with the troopers' greater mobile. Or maybe even Doombot and another trooper.

Lol, never thought of the Ki-Adi/Kazdan combination. Might get ugly if a little luck is on your side. Surely fun to play but relies too much on the dice to always be competitive.
