My birthday is July 15th (PM me for where to send gifts)
What I want is to play minis! (shocking I know)
Being the competitive lad that I am, I want a top tier tournament. This is not the time to bring your B-squad. Bring the best and see how it stacks up!
Since most people probably can't play a tournament on a Wednesday (my actual birthday), the tournament will be on
SUNDAY, July 12th at 3:00pm Central
ALL ARE WELCOME, regardless of geography!!!
Please let me know in this thread if you plan on playing. I'll have a running list
Squads can be PMed to TimmerB123 anytime after July 10th (I will PM a neutral party my squad before then)
*Registration ENDS July 12th at 2:00 pm central time
*Rounds begin promptly at 3:00 pm central time
Gameplay in each round will last exactly 75 minutes.
Number of Swiss (initial) rounds depend on number of participants.
<8 = (something modified that gets us 4 rounds of play. Round Robin, random draw, short Swiss, etc)
>9 = 4 rounds
For any number of participants above 8, cut to the top 4 and play 2 rounds of single elimination finals.
Short 30 minute food break between rounds 2 and 3.

Great Library
Offworld Shipping
Rebel Fortress
Rhen Var Citadel
(all the restricted list available vassal maps)
This will be an official Star Wars™ Miniatures SWMGPA (Star Wars Miniatures Gamers Players Association) sanctioned event. The SWM GPA Floor Rules will be in effect.

I happen to be off that Sunday and therefore I'm in. Though I'm not bringing my GenCon squad to this lol. Saving it for V-GenCon.

Back in the day at Gen Con we had a big 200pt tournament the Day before the champs. Some people brought their champ squad. Others brought their #2 best squad. (And some, like myself, went undefeated with my #2 squad and regretted not playing it again for the champs) Think of it as that tournament.
