Can a Bodyguard take the damage from an attack on an adjacent ally? Can that said bodyguard use baskaargam or force attuned armor to reduce the damage?

Stifling Attack specifies adjacent enemies, not just the target. So if the Bodyguard is also adjacent to the character with Stifling Attack, the Bodyguard would not be able to use Bodyguard or armor. If the Bodyguard is not adjacent to the character with Stifling Attack (e.g. the bodyguard is behind the ally), then the bodyguard could use Bodyguard and armor.
