If I have a sith ally with a lightsaber, do they have to end adjacent to an enemy if I can make a legal attack before I move?
Example
If Ajunta Pall is in my squad with Baras, could I use Telekinetic combat before Baras’ CE, or must I move first?

Once you make an attack, you lose aggressive negotiations (and thereby diplomat), thus the restriction would no longer apply to you.
The idea behind this part of the CE was purely abuse prevention. Trying to form diplomat walls and such. Baras giving Aggressive Negotiations was purely to get your melee attackers to the fight unharmed, but then all bets are off.
