Does Spotter stack? Can I stack Spotter with Improved Spotter, or do they only stack with other characters who also have Spotter or Improved Spotter?
Also, if that team has Tarkin, am I forced to use only 1 Death Star/Imp Navy guy to combine fire with for the unpreventable dmg, or could I (hypothetically) use every spotter shooter possible and still deal the unpreventable dmg?

I do believe that Spotter will stack, but not with the same Spotter ability. For example, Spotter +20 doesn't stack with another Spotter +20 to give you +40 damage. Spotter +10 and Spotter +20 tho would stack and give you +30 damage total. Improved Spotter is a differently named ability, so those will stack with regular Spotter damage, but they won't stack with Improved Spotter abilities of the same name.

I can't comment on your squad but you have another 10 points to play with, if you're trying to make a 150 squad - Tarkin has a 10-point rapport for Vader.

I don’t think 2 instances of spotter stack (from the WotC days) but I don’t recall if spotter and improved spotter would stack or not

I think that Jason is correct.
Opportunist +10 does not stack with Opportunist +20 because they are both Opportunist.
...now swap "Opportunist" for "Spotter" and I think it's pretty clear.
But Spotter and Improved Spotter are different abilities, so they would stack.
