November League Tournament Play Test Edition Here’s a chance to play some of the upcoming characters from set 29. Quote:This will be another long format event. 3 Rounds total, One match per week for three weeks. Pairings will be random and not have anything to do with your record. How it works… Quote:When you sign up, rank the 5 Factions that you would most prefer to play. On a first come first serve basis you will be assigned playtest characters based on those rankings. I will not assign a character to more than one player until all characters have been sent out once. 3 playtest figures will be sent to you in a bloomail. You do not need to use all 3. You will be allowed to change your squad between rounds. The object here is to get eyes on the different characters and find any bad interactions that may have been overlooked. Quote:The map list for this event is… Outpost 1 Outpost 3 Warrior's Enclave Registration will begin immediately. I will take entries until the Sith Holonews Thursday night. The matches can begin Sunday afternoon (Eastern US Time) November 9th.

Randy wrote:Quote:The map list for this event is… Outpost 1 Outpost 3 Warrior's Enclave All of these maps are on Vassal, on the very bottom of the list of maps. 1. Go to File > New Game 2. Choose a Side (ie, Player 1, etc) 3. When you see the "Select a map to play on" option, drag the slider all the way to the bottom, where you'll see all of the new maps that Matt has made for us. The terrain lines are present for each of the maps, but IMHO they're a little bit too faint for my preferences. If some/all of these ones end up getting used in competitive play I'll take the time to go in and make the terrain lines easier to see. But they should be good for a few games right now.

My 200pt Rebel team is locked and loaded! I am not available to play on Sunday, but I'll coordinate with whoever my Rnd 1 opponent is, to try and get a game in during the week .

Pairings are posted above. Remember, this is not about winning. This is about refining the designs. When you have completed your game, post here that it has been completed. If you are able to post in the play test forum on gamers, please post your report there. I will share them here after characters start getting spoiled. If you cannot post your report in the play test thread, bloomail them to me. I want to see feedback from both players please. Use the following template as a guide... Quote: Playtest Report: (1) I played against: (2) Map: (3) What characters did I play? (4) What did my opponent play? (5) Did the game finish on time? (6) Set-up and beginning rounds (7) Mid Game action (8) Big finish
(9) Answer these questions for each play test piece. (Yours and your opponents): (a) How did the characters abilities interact with each other? (b) Did you understand how the SA/CE interactions work after reading them just once? (c) Did the abilities on the character(s) make sense? Was anything out of place and/or missing? (d) Does the mini(s) work? (e) Is the cost accurate? (f) Any suggestions for it/them? (g) Analysis/Description of the game – Detailed accounting of the game
Good Hunting everyone, and May the Force not turn your dice to ones.
