Hi,
I'd like to get into online play with the community. How are games usually organized, do you use voice chat and if so, which platform, etc? I've been playing SWM for 15+ years but always in-person so I am not a noob to the game. I'd really just like to be more engaged with the community.
Any tips or what-not would be appreciated.

Games can be here or by PM if you know who you want to play with.
We typically use Discord for voice chat--I think maybe Gandalf has the invite link????

Here's an Invitation link: https://discord.gg/3FzN8uAbI'm not sure how long it lasts (I've heard that sometimes these links have a 24hr duration or something), so in case you try it an it has expired then please comment here again and we'll give you a new one. Once you're on Discord and have the Vassal mod downloaded, you should keep an eye on the Events subforum, because we're regularly holding tournaments. These tournaments are normally structured in a play-one-game-per-week format so that it's easier for people to fit their games into their schedule...that's usually easier than trying to get 8+ people to block off a big 6-hour chunk of time on a specific day.

We'd be glad to have to you play with us online. I'm usually around between like 8am and 2pm EST from my office. Occassionally I do have to take phone calls and wait on tenants but I'm always down for playing if you're able to,
