Republic Commando Niner does not have Order 66 but instead has Omega Squad:

Alpha-17 has and gives Exclusive Loyalty:

The Omega Squad SA was designed before Exclusive Loyalty existed. So at the time it was designed, it was clearly with the intent that he can receive CEs that affect O66 allies.

My question is this: Does Niner's Omega Squad ability allow him to give his CE in a squad with Alpha-17 (and therefore with Exclusive Loyalty)?



If it does synergize, then Alpha and Niner combine to give +20dmg to ERC allies. Scared If it doesn't synergize then Niner is kinda redundant in the squad. Inquiring minds want to know....

This might bear further discussion, but I would look to independent outfit, which allows the character to receive CEs that specify fringe allies, but does not make the character a fringe commander.

Other thoughts?

Doesn't this require that in order for someone with this Exclusive Loyalty to be subject to any commander effect, the commander in question would need to be both Unique and have Order 66? (rather than either be Unique or have Order 66)

It's excluding non-Unique commanders, and it's also excluding non-Order 66 commanders.

Yes, I think you're right. Sorry for the confusion.

I stand by my initial comment. He would not become a commander with Order 66.
