UrbanShmi over Hi-Fives 128-59 (3-0) on Warrior's Enclave.
I will try to do a fuller write-up later, but for now, Ahsoka took out Luke and everyone else took out Mara after winning a few key initis. Talking over the Escalations, it seems like Jordan's squad will just get scarier (as will mine).
EDIT: for more context. I set up on the left and HI Fives set up on the right in preparation for running annd smashing. I won the first init, we both intuitioned, and I thorium charged the door in front of me. At the end of the first round, I ran Mon into Gambit where she did...absolutely nothing. Luke was in gambit Mara was cloaked, and he was ahead 6-0.
In the second round, I won init and chose to let Jordan go first. Mon intuitioned out of gambit to turn off Luke's Ataru, and Mara intuitioned in, rsn the rest of the way, and killed Ezra. Bail slingshotted Ahsoka up a bit, and she ran in and assault-twinned on Luke, putting 90 on him. Luke put 60 back on her, and Ganner pushed her for another 20. Sabine ran up adjacent to Mara and shot her at +13/20, which she didn't seem to like very much. I had gambit with Ahsoka and at the end of the round, he was leading 34-6.
Big init! Jordan rolled a 4 and I rolled a 7, leading to Luke's demise. Because he didn't want to risk Sabine's mines, he could only put 60 on her (no crits!), and Bail swung Sabine out of adjacency after they both put another 50 on Mara. Mara took the opportunity to be lifted away by Ganner. Which Luke dead and Jordan temporarily shut out of Gambit, I took the lead 60-34.
Jordan wins what will turn out to be the final init and puts another 20 on Ahsoka with Ganner's push. Ahsoka runs over with Acrobatic and plants herself in between Ganner and Mara. One assault and one rolling cleave later, and Jordan's remaining attackers were dead. Sabine decided to throw her stuff at an adjacent ugnaught and both died, making the final score 128-59.
This was a really fun game. Jordan's attack rolls were good, but his init rolls were not, and that wound up being the difference. I wish him good luck in future rounds!

Mando (3pts) defeats DarthMaim (0pts) 125-27 on Frigid Outpost. DarthMaim won the map roll and I set up on the left side of the map.
This game was mainly the combo of Exar Kun and Sidious that was the key to winning. Force Dominated Exar 3 times to get him extra turns to get through all the damage mitigation and he was tanky enough with his 160 hp and high starting defense to survive the Vong onslaught. I was able to take out Vongrella and Denua Ku in one round, then went on to attack Vua Rapung the next round. On a key init, I won it and went first with Exar who did all of his attacks on Vua and then the XT droid sacrificed himself to activate Sidious who Force Dominated Exar to do all his attacks again on Vua, taking him out. Exar had to spend quite a few force points to reroll the Dominate saves, but with MotF 2 it succeeded every time i tried to use it on him. Exar went up against Khalee Lah at the end who had a hard time hitting him with +8 attack vs 22def. Even with Cunning Attack he needed 10's to hit. Exar ended up with 70hp at the end of the game. I controlled gambit with Sidious the entire game and kept the vong bottled up in a corridor as Exar Kun fought back the Vong pretty much singlehandedly. My Uvak was the first to fall to the Vong after he took out Dooje Broolo with a Painful Screech. My Skyborn Ranger wasn't able to do much else as DarthMaim was smart in placing his mini's so i coulldn't get an effective Battering Charge. I was hoping to win init and escape with the Uvak but Maim won that init and took out the Uvak before it could do any more real damage. So it was pretty much Exar Kun who did all the damage this game and he was very good at it with his LSA and twin attacks. Vua Rapung got a few Counter attacks in (the first one resulted in a crit! 40 dmg....ouch!) but his saves weren't the best at other times with him failing a few VCA 6 saves to make the damage from Exar hit that much harder. Had Exar been defeated, this game would have been quite the opposite in its result. The 4 rounds of gambit definitely helped. Good game and DarthMaim has an awesome Vong squad! i get the feeling it will be even more scary as the Escalation tournament progresses.

spryguy1981 (3) defeats Lightsaber (0) 139-51 on Gangster's Vault
Round 1 was positioning for both squads.
Round 2 I won init and made him go first. He moved his Consul out of the way. I ran a mouse droid up and opened the door and Cad used a Furious Assault to kill Harrar, the Advance Scout, the Zonoma Scout, and put 30 on Nen Yim. Lightsaber then based Cad with Dooje to take away the CE but didn't realize how Hostage Shield worked. Vongerella attacked Cad and hit but the damage went to Dooje to take him out. Moralo charged in and put 30 on Vongerella but got in range of Tsavong Lah. He came in and smoked Moralo with Yun-Yammka Devotion. Asajj based him and got 50 damage through to put him at 40.
Round 3 I win init and elect to try and kill Tsavong with Asajj which I do. He gets 50 damage through on Asajj, Cad uses Furious Assault to kill Vongerella and Nen Yim. Uggie almost damages the Consul.
Round 4 I win init and Asajj kills the 8th Cortex. Consul kills my Uggie, Cad does 40 to the Consul. I then use Todo for Self Destruct Sequence to go over 125.
Overall it was a great game, Cad was down to 30 and Asajj was down to 60. Had Lightsaber won the 3rd init it would've been a horse of a different color. Good luck the rest of the way.

thereisnotry defeats gandalfthegreatestwizard 154-85 (3-1)
Joe won the map roll so we played on Gangster's Vault. I set up on the upper-right side, where people normally do with this map. I foolishly placed my Gatekeeper Droid at the door by my starting zone, rather than near the middle of the map...this error became very apparent very soon. Joe was in the bottom-left area.
Round 1: I won init and let Joe go first. Basic advancement for both of us. Yoda ended beside R2, and Yaddle was in gambit. Grievous was at the door in gambit. 6-6.
Round 2: Joe won init. R2 towed Yoda to be near Coleman, then LOCKED the door in Greivous' face! I really should've had my Droid at this door, not the other one.... But that was no problem, because San pushed GG 12 squares around the other way, then GG used Spinning Blade (tried to fp to move faster but Yoda said No) to slice into R2, Yoda, and Colemen...door problem solved, right? Nope! Grievous forgot to turn on one of his lightsabers, because only 1 of his attacks on each of those people landed. As a result, Yoda was at 110, Coleman at 30, and R2 at 10 (with the center door still locked). Yaddle use Morichro on GG then attacked GG, parried. Coleman Assaulted...miss fprr, crit, parry, hit, parry. So I guess maybe GG shouldn't be too upset about his miserable dice a few moments prior. However, when it was his turn Yoda sent GG back home. Maul ran up past Yaddle (aoo hit for 10dmg after TK Style). Gambit for both. 33-12 for Joe.
Round 3: Joe won this init too...kinda huge. Coleman, knowing he was not long for this world, attacked Maul with bravado worthy of the Jedi Archives, and scored a hit (Maul at 100hp). Maul responded by slicing Coleman in half ("It doesn't feel nice, does it?") and then dropping Yaddle down to 30 with a hit and a crit. Maul's CE allowed GG to move 4 squares up (slowed because of Morichro). Yaddle and Kneesaa were awed by the majesty of Maul's martial abilities. San pushed Grievous forward, who then use Spinning Blade again, this time connecting on some strikes to kill both Kneesaa and Yaddle. Yoda used LS Throw twice to send Maul back home. R2 then towed Yoda into the gambit spot. Gambit for both, 78-68 for me.
Round 4: I won init. Big Spinning Blade coming up!! Alas, Grievous forgot to ignite his lightsabers and he missed EVERY attack. lol. By this point it was just comical. R2 towed Yoda up to kill San. Maul charged into Yoda with speed, hitting both but the Force was with Yoda so he blocked one of them (90hp). Gambit for me. 84-82 for me.
Round 5: I won init. Maul must have been practicing, because he hit all 4 of his attacks (needing 7s) against Yoda (down to 10hp). Yoda killed my Drone and put 20 onto Maul, R2 then towed him away. GG opened the center door so that he was within range of Yoda and the Override bot. Gambit for me. 90-85 for me.
Round 6: I won init. This time Grievous remembered to turn on his lightsabers, and he hit everything on his Spinning Blade attacks, to finish off both of the evil Republic pieces. You'd think that it wouldn't take SIX attacks to finally be able to kill Doombot...but maybe that's why he's called Doombot. 154-85 for me.
Joe's squad had plenty of damage output, but mine doesn't mind. When I can roll above a 6 my squad does a bunch of damage too. As always, it was fun to game with you, Joe! Best of luck to you in the rest of the GE.
