Personally i think there should be at least 1, 1 point piece for the reason so that all the 199, 99, or 149 point squads can finally be a nice round number

I sort of agree, but not really. The only way for this game to really be balanced is to have a 0 pt non-unique activation. This would really help out currently low activation lists to balance against lists that spam.

I think honestly you guys aren't being creative enough here. There are already soooo many positive point cost pieces - why don't we add a piece that subtracts points from your squad? I reckon we could do that on a Luke:
[-23: Luke Skywalker, Really Good Pilot Because One Guy Said So] SA: Ego: Once per turn if a Unique ally would make an attack, this character swaps places with the attacker because 'a old ghost man told me I'm magic'. One in a Million: When this character makes an attack, roll a d20. On a roll of natural 20, the target and all characters within 4 squares are defeated. On any other roll, all your CEs are permanently suppressed and this character is defeated
(Think about it, there's no way there was just a spare X-wing hanging around the base. Some Rebel veteran just got replaced by a teenage farmer because 'he can kill rats ig')
