Hi Fives defeats Spryguy 125-50 on Command deck (3-0)

I pick side, and pick the right

Rd 1: Who woulda guessed, but the first round of a SWM game was entirely movement and positioning! I finished the round with my guys gathered around the maintenance bay door, and Matt has his guys gathered in the maintenance bay. Tsalok gets gambit I don't

Rd 2: I win init, and I let Matt start. Tsalok activates and moves just slightly closer so he can reach my guys next round. I go then with Todo and open the door, and then IGA shoots into Tsalok for 60 with a crit after crabs. The Consul runs up some, and then Tsavong runs up to the door to oppose me and tank for Tsalok. 0-0-0 runs up and gets a crit on his attack from DWU and succeeds with electrocute, leaving Tsavong with two torture points. BT-1 then puts 40 onto Tsavong with some missiles. Matt sends up both his shapers to be part of the fight and the round ends. 0-12 for Matt

Rd 3: I win init again, and IGB finishes off Tsavong. Tsalok responds by demolishing 0-0-0, which pushes Nagme up to put 20 onto BT1 after sheilds. IGA takes out Nagme, freeing BT1 to go after Tsalok and Nen Yim, and he drops Nen Yim to 10 hp and Tsalok to 40. Consul advances, and Nen Yim misses a shot at Toto. Toto has his bomb go off, killing Nen Yim. gambit for Matt. 72-44 for me

Rd 4: I win init (again) and finish off Tsalok with IGB. From here it was just a game of cat and mouse to catch the Consul and reduce him to dust, as the Vong deserve lol

This was a very favorable matchup for me, but my dice were also insane. If Matt had one any init, he would have at least had a one point loss easily. It was a good game tho, thanks for a good time as always Matt!

--DarkDracul vs. Mando--

Map:Command Deck
Result:DarkDracul defeats Mando, 132–41
Rounds: 4

Round 1
We both had Command Deck, I started on left side of the map. Mando advanced Raskta, Sarro, and Johun from the opposite side. I brought my Echani Jedi up together, getting one into gambit before the end of the round. T3 used Override on the central door. I collected the first round of gambit.
Score: 6–0

Round 2
I won initiative and used Force Meditation from Atris. The +4 Attack for my squad and −4 Attack for Mando's characters proved extremely important throughout the game. Mando used his Army of Light Trooper to blow open the door that T3 had locked. Raskta moved into the central area, while Sarro and Johun positioned nearby. I used T3's Targeting to lower Sarro's Defense and sent two Echani Jedi after him. With Force Meditation and their other bonuses, my Echani were hitting on incredibly low rolls. The first Echani attacked Sarro, forcing him to use Lightsaber Protection. The second Echani continued the assault, including rolling a natural 20, which Sarro also reduced with Lightsaber Protection. By the end of the attacks, Sarro had gone from 120 HP to 60 HP and had spent two Force points protecting himself. I moved my remaining Echani into gambit. Mando also earned gambit.
Score: 12–6

Round 3
Mando won initiative and went first. Sarro used Brutal Strike and attacked one of my Echani Jedi, successfully doing a total of 60 damage. That left the Echani hanging on with just 10 HP. The other Echani attacked, hitting Sarro repeatedly. He spent his final Force point on Lightsaber Protection, but I was able to finish off his remaining 60 HP. That was the first major turning point. Mando lost a 40-point attacker, along with Sarro's commander effect. Johun then used Force Push to finish off my badly wounded Echani. That was Mando's first and only kill. I moved another Echani into position against Raskta and managed to land both attacks. She used Lightsaber Protection to reduce the damage, dropping to 100 HP and spending two Force points. Raskta retaliated with Triple Attack against an Echani. She missed initially, rerolled into a hit, but I made my Lightsaber Defense save. Her subsequent attacks were largely negated by misses and Shields, dealing only 10 damage. That was a pretty significant exchange considering Raskta costs 60 points and my Echani costs 23. T3 then advanced and used Flamethrower, eliminating both Mando's Army of Light Trooper and Gizka.
At the end of the round, Mando had lost Sarro and two other pieces, while I had lost one Echani.
Score: 66–35

Round 4
I won initiative and started with Force Meditation again.
Mando brought Johun forward to attack my wounded Echani. He landed an attack, but Shields reduced the damage. Raskta followed up with her Triple Attack, but Force Meditation made it considerably harder for her to hit. She missed several attacks, including a Force-point reroll, while I successfully made a Lightsaber Defense save against another hit.
T3 moved forward and applied Targeting to Raskta. I then attacked with an Echani Jedi. With all the offensive bonuses and Raskta's reduced Defense, I joked that I needed a 1 to hit. I rolled a 2, which was still enough! Raskta used her remaining Force points on Lightsaber Protection, but the Echani's Twin Attack still brought her down to 80 HP. After Mando finished his remaining activations, I moved my other Echani into position to finish Raskta. The first attack was a hit, and the next was a natural 20 critical hit for 50 damage killing Raskta and the game ended.
Final Score: DarkDracul 132–Mando 41

During the game, Mando commented several times about how powerful the Echani Jedi were for their cost and suggested they needed to be examined by the Balance Committee. I agree with him. It was a fun game against Mando, and I appreciated the good sportsmanship and discussion afterward.

DarthMaim defeated UrbanShmi 144-48 ( 3-0 ) on Frigid Outpost.

I won map roll and so off to the snow we went. I chose an AOL Consular and an AOL Trooper for Farfallas Reinforcements. Laura chose the left and set up in the area of the snow vehicle and I set-up in the usual areas on the right with some of my guys outside and adjacent to the upper middle left portion of the room and the remainder inside
and close to the middle door of the room, as close to the door as possible.

Rnd 1: I win init. It's the usual trek to gambit, except that for Laura, thanks to Lor San Tekka, Luke starts in gambit, and after Mara intuitioned and then moved 6 towards Luke after Lor San ended his turn, so she joined her other half in gambit, as well. She gets gambit, I do not.

Rnd 2: I win init again, but her rolls keep getting higher every init, which is scary for me, as her rolling gets better and better as the match goes on, as I will write about in later rounds. The beginning of this rnd had us both moving our guys to strategic positions, and when she had 1 mini left ( Mara ), I had Farfalla make his move to go open the right middle door to the room/area, just below the gambit room. Mara sharpened her lightsaber and saw her chance to try and put a 90 dmg hurt on Farfalla, but after a Force Bubble and 2 successful Makashi's, he only took 10 dmg. As she was done activating, Johun, moved and struck Mara, but as I mentioned before, her subscription to Vassal kicked in and she saved. Then, my 2 Echani's moved 14, 1 basing Mara, the other 1 square away, both taking an attack of opportunity, but she missed 1 Echani, and hit the other, but it was FB'ed. She gets gambit, once again, I do not.

Rnd 3: She wins init Scared. Mara Force pushes an Echani away, from her, and she once again, FB'ed it. Seeing the Hero of many battles eyeing to lock half of my Force out of the middle room below gambit, an Echani spends a Force to go destroy R2, and in 1 swift swing, he's deactivated. Johun, decides to be heroic, spends a Force to move further, breaks away from Mara, she slices him for 20 dmg, and he Ambushes Lor San Tekka, and down went the old guy, completing the "Elder Abuse" circle. Luke, not happy with losing his beloved R2, moves in and attacks Johun 2 times, hitting for 60, only taking 40, after FB. The other Echani moves in to base Mara and hits for 60 on 2 attacks, but Laura's high rolling continues and she Defenses 1 of the attacks, so she only takes 30 dmg. Farfalla attacks Mara with double attack and hits both, and unfortunately, this time she fails her defense save, so she takes 40 dmg total, bringing her down to 40 hp. I activate the rest of my team and the round ends. I get gambit and Laura does not.

Rnd 4: Laura wins init once again! Mara attacks a based Echani and after 3 attacks, she misses 1 ( FP reroll misses on 2nd ), and hits 2 times, but after a FB, and a successful Shields save, the Echani takes 20 dmg. Then an Echani attacks Luke, but Luke LD's 1 and the 2nd attack misses. Johun attacks Mara and hits her 2 times, but once again, she successfully LD'ed 1 and connects on the other for 30 dmg, bringing her to 10 dmg. Luke breaks away from Johun and moves in to slash an Echani for 60 dmg, but she takes only 40 dmg after a FB. C3PO breaks away from Johun and takes 30 dmg. Farfalla attacks Mara and does absolutely nothing because he missed 2 times ( FP RR ) and then she LD'ed the other. An Echani then comes in and slices Mara in half, as she LD'ed 1 attack, then the other hit, and she finally went down. With the Rolling cleave, she then attacks Luke 2 times, hitting for 30 dmg, as Luke LD'ed the other hit. AOL trooper moved in and did 20 dmg on Luke, thanks to a high roll and Wicket's traps, and Luke being out of FP's! The round ends with me getting gambit and Laura not.

Rnd 5: Laura wins init again! Luke attacks an Echani 2 times ( having to FP re-roll 1 of the attacks ), and 1 Echani goes down! Johun activates and takes out C3PO. Farfalla attacks Luke, and hits for 20 dmg on a FP less Luke. Then, once again an AOL trooper comes in and hits Luke for 20 dmg ( thank you Wicket! ), as Luke has no FP's left. Round ends with me getting gambit, and Laura not.

Rnd 6: I finally win an init! An Echani attacks a FP less Luke, and the he finally goes down. The round ends and I get gambit and the game is over with my point total at 144.

With Laura winning the crucial inits in rnds 3, 4, and 5, it was a stressful time for me in navigating her 2 powerhouses from all the damage they can dish out. Surprisingly, I give the MVP of my game to Wicket and my AOL Trooper. Wicket, allowed me to be able to hit Mara and Luke ( -4 to their defenses ), and Wicket connected on 2 spear throws in the game ( 20 dmg total ), and the AOL trooper did 40 dmg on Luke during the game, which were both very unexpected, but key to reducing hp's on her 2 key main characters. Of course, winning the last init, allowing me to finish off Luke in the end, was huge, as well. Always a pleasure throwing down D20's with you Laura. Good luck in the rest of the GE Tourney!

Randy over Lightsaber (3-0) on Jungle Tomb. (148-18)

He set up on the right, I was outside. On round 2 I hunkered down in the upper left gambit. Ani came rolling in at the top of the round and did not land any damage on Kreia.

Round 3 Kreia cut Anakin down to 20 HP and Hanharr took him down and then took down Tarkin. He ran away but could not escape the Ahsokasaurous Rex. Hanharr ended the round a 10 life.

The Exile based Rex and took out the Spaarti. Kreia handed Ahsoka 90 damage while Hanharr hid. I won init and that is as they say was that.

Good Hunting Lightsaber!
