Ok so after reading ALL of the below...does this only work for "printed" Def, Att & damge or for "boosted" abilities as well?

say I Mimetic Combat Process (MCP)a character who is benifiting from Yoda's CE +3att/+3 Deff or say a EG-05 Jedi Hunter Droid benifiting from GGDAC's +4/+4 which now has a Def 23 and att of 14, or do I only copy the 19 def 10 attack of the EG-05?

and do I count these MCP's abilities as MY OWN after I initiate the ability? or only my own "printed" abilities?

so If I did MCP a EG-05 JHD and then ran across Darth Bane would I be able to MCP his abilities or do I have to keep what I have since his def is not better than the 23 of the EG-05?

this ability seems like it needs a much larger FAQConfused

Quote:
Mimetic Combat Processor
This character uses the Defense, Attack, and Damage ratings of itself or any 1 Medium character with Melee Attack within 6 squares, whichever are higher

Quote:
Glossary Text:

Once per turn during this character's activation, choose one Medium character with Melee Attack within 6 squares. This character can use the chosen character's Defense, Attack, and Damage ratings if they are higher than its own. It must use all the chosen character's ratings; if any of them is worse than its own, it cannot use this ability. This character uses the chosen character's ratings for the rest of the skirmish or until it chooses another eligible character.

Q: Can the character with Mimetic Combat Processor change the selected character to copy after moving or even between attacks?

A: Yes. It may select it at any time during its turn as long as it doesn't interrupt an action in progress.

Q: Can this character select a character to copy if some of the ratings are the same as its current ratings?

A: Yes. It is only prevented from selecting a character that has one or more lower ratings.

I'm not really sure if the above here answers my question above about "copying" a character with worst stats than those I currently possess from MCP a differnt character?

thanks for the help.

Mimetic Combat Processor only looks at the base, or printed, stats. You cannot copy the bonuses, only the printed stats, which replaces Proxy's printed stats.

alright cool...I wish it was THAT clearly printed in the FAQ or on the card or in the Glossary here...that would have saved me a lot of over thinking...lol LOL

Thank You

Note that while you only copy the printed stats you still get to apply any of your relevant modifiers. This means that if Proxy is paired with GGDAC Proxy's stats get adjusted without considering GG and once they are modified get to benefit from the +4 attack/defense and twin attack. If you run into GMLuke or Exar Kun that means Proxy could be looking at Defense 27 and +23 for attack.

I was kinda hoping/figuring this...and that's exactly who I was wanting to pair him with as we are getting ready to run a 200 point melee tourney in a week or so...

the tempation to run him with Dart Bane was high, but the thought of getting twin and +4/+4 was too good to pass up; plus I was going to run this:

--melee--
57 General Grievous, Droid Army Commander
43 Asajj Ventress, Separatist Assassin
41 PROXY
54 EG-05 Jedi Hunter Droid x2
3 Ugnaught Demolitionist

which should allow me to start off PROXY with a 24 defence, 16 attack, 20 damage and twin attack.

It costs more, but consider a Dooku. Proxy then has 21+4 D, 16+4 A.
