Hey all,

Just wondering what you guys want to do in March. Post here with any suggestions for Wednesday/Saturday events!

Are we switching to Sundays instead of Saturdays?

I always thought it'd be fun to do something similar to Battle of the Huges, but using (large?) 4x4 based figures instead.

Some ideas:

1) Fantastic 4: 4 figures, any factions, must equal 200 points. No lockouts.

2) Add one figure from any faction into your squad. If this character is defeated, you lose the game.

3) Clone Wars. Use two of the same Character, can't be the same Unique version (like say you can use Grand Master Yoda and YoBuck, but not 2 YoBucks).

4) Melee only. This would be epic.

5) Kill and Keep. Normal buy in, but the prize support boosters are opened and you have to fight the minis and kill them, then you get them. This would happen on say 2 joined maps. With maybe 1 team vs another.

ive played this format at home many times and love it. it makes you use figures who normally wouldnt see the field (nihilus this buds for you) so i wanna do that, also wouldnt mind a best of four now that dark times is out

I agree that all melee is usually fun with certain obvious exceptions. Ouch vader don't kill me!

Beware THE WOOKIES ARE COMMING!

If anyone has any extra Dark times minis for trade heres a link to my trades list.

I think if we do beatsticks in 200 again we should up the melee requirement to like 110 or 120. You know it is easy to get around when tier 1.5 rebel squads and abusive shooter heavy OR squads are running around. That guy that brought cad bane is a real jerk....Woot

Would anyone be opposed to making March "Down with Tempo Control" month? All non-DCI sanctioned events can't use tempo control?

I think all of Joelkers ideas are great. I especially like the one where you bring in a different peice but loose the game if it is lost. Or the fight for your prize idea.
