There is only one fig in the set that costs more than 32 points (probably 2, once Palpatine is revealed). I think it's going to be hard for a lot of people to build a 150 point squad with 2 boosters.

That is actually exactly how we Determined what the sealed event point cost would be. ^_^
Both the Midnight and March 21st Events are 100 point Sealed.

If we did 150 points, most players would just have to throw in almost every mini in their boosters. Which then it becomes less of what to run and more of "what 1-2 minis do I leave out". If the majority of people are making squads like that, the point total is too high. Some pulls may not even be able to get 150 points.
The smaller total makes the people who pull amazing pick and choose what to run and those that don't pull great can still try to win by merit of uncommons and trying to out play their opponent.
At 100 we won't see any vader+thrawn, which I think is really for the best. And with 100 points we won't be going as late because the rounds will be shorter.

THere is only 2 factions, NR isn't viable really. Rebels have really one possible squad, imps basicly have 2.
I don't think the 150 IE set restricted format is gonna be anything like diverse.

With 40 piece sets the quality of an all 1 set event has really gone down hill. Also, when the calender was posted I thought Xizor would affect the twileks which atleast providing alittle more variety. Obviously now, I would like to change the wednesday event but I feel like its too close to the date of the event. I know if I changed it now someone would show up with only an all IE squad and I would feel pretty shitty when I would have to explain the event was changed.
So yeah, we will probably have a fair amount of simmiliar squads.

The more I think about it, the more I think "all IE" would be a fairly boring event. I am changing the event to a normal 200 point event. Sorry nothing too interesting since its short notice. I am going to try and spread the word.
