I just got the Vassal, however i'm have troubles with squads building...

How to use the squads builing function on Vassal?

Can i make some squads offline, then load it when i need to play it online?

You build them in Bloo or with your cards or however you normally do.

When you start a game, then you drag the pieces in your squad to the map. You can't really have this prepared in advance but it only takes a minute.
